Gale has been working on a new book during her break, When Dragons Belch, and was just planning its release when news of the epidemic gets out. To help, she and Charlotte are turning it into a fundraiser, and to raise money copies are being sold individually and ordered by bulk (though simple donations are always welcome!). Those who have contributed to the book's creation (editing, publishing, consultation, financial backing, etc.), or are RCMC personnel involved (dragon handlers, magizoologists, etc.), have been gifted with free tickets.Fine dining and live music are to be expected! Everyone is encouraged to attend! Even drama! (to a certain extent) If anyone has any plots they'd like to tie into this, just plot here– or shoot me a PM! I may respond by either. I promise to have all my charries make a written appearance at the least (but Balfour will most definitely be prevalent with his puppy face so yes please ALL the guests). I imagine, fundraisers and book launches are always in need of good press, and luckily for her, Iris' is assigned to reporting on social events. I think she'd buy a ticket stub, and mark the receipt as a work expense. I don't know if any of CC's publicists would reach out to newspapers and magazines before hand to publicize the event, or if they send a guest list to them? If this sounds good, let me know.
