Writing I'm back plotters is /hard/ guys; but I'm gonna try! To start with I'd like to focus on Sophie and what I want to do with her.

Things to know about Miss Sophie 6th Year Gryffindor Prefect, out spoken Werewolf Rights Advocate, fair student (better at things like Herbology, Potions, and CoMC than wandwork), social butterfly who is itching to do social butterfly things. Still dealing with the death of her mother and the dissolution of her family as well as basically all her best friends... just kind of fading from view.

Short temper, usually almost immediately sorry when she loses it (but sometimes not so much), the girl who called Ignan Storm a bully and lived (and strangely did not get a detention). Dated Figaro Sellaphix TWICE (yeah, don't look at her like that, he's cute), they broke up around Valentine's Day due in large part to the fact Sophie is a terrible flirt and Figaro has some /trust/ issues. They're still friends though, so don't say bad things about him because then she will have to defend him and that just feels WEIRD, okay?

Things I would like to do with her: get SAWS back (?) underway, Prefect stuff, and she really needs a social life. With the anniversary of her mother's death coming up she's going to need something to pull her out of her own head. Also, I am determined to do SOMETHING with her Seer ability. I haven't ever got to use it in the way that I wanted and it seems like a footnote of her life rather than the thing it should be which is a big chunk of it. So if you have things you want "Seen", or would like to be subjected to amateur hour of the Divining Arts please step right up and let me know!

Academically speaking at one point she had a tutor for her wandwork; I was operating under the idea that it's more a case of nerves than actually being /bad/ at spells. She isn't secure enough in her decision making capabilities to be really good (also Ruby was like super perfect at Wandwork and Liviana is really good at spells so it felt weird to say ALL my characters are just awesome at school things) - long point beeeeeeing, if there is anyone interested in tutoring her or helping her in general it might be fun to thread out her issues with casting. And of course if you need help in Divination/Herbology/Potions/CoMC then she can be your girl.

So. Yes. Please help me get involved again I've missed AO so much!

We've already talked, but I have to respond! 

Fig and Sophie broke up around Valentine's and according to Figaro, it was mutual.  Hard to say how true that might be.  Since then he's been taking it hard and just trying to avoid her.  All confused about feelings.  And in the meantime, he's been crushing on other people like Raine Almasy and Belle Hatter.

Future stuff could certainly be boyf/girlf drama, but perhaps being apart could be good for their maturity and growing as friends?  Fig's also the new editor of the school paper. 

Branwen - If you're looking for a relationship with a teacher, perhaps Branwen Strangely would be a good connection.  She's no-nonsense and all about girl power. 

For seer stuff: Maiko could be a help. I have a few visony things in mind with general characters that we could IM each other about.

I have a new firstie, Linus Hughes. He's a Gryffindor and I would imagine he'd think Sophie is oh-so-very pretty. Not sure how much he would have interacted with her though. He might try to give her gifts. But his gifts would probably be tree frogs or something.

Then of course, Zel. Zel adores Sophie. She was the first one he told about being all wolfy and whatnot so he feels a sense of loyalty to her. Maybe we could figure out some SAWS stuff there?

Juni is vehemently against werewolves, especially after her mum's death at the hands of one in November. That could be a fun conflict?  She'd be very anti-saws. Would make comments like she thought Analiza Snark had the right idea regarding Foley, etc.

Fig & Sophie - We've talked it bit about this over AIM; I like the idea of them staying apart for awhile. I mean someday they're probably going to get married and make a million loud babies who get into /everything/ they're not supposed to but for now they both need to grow up and learn how to talk. I DO like the idea of them becoming actual friends again if it's possible because for so long it's all been messy because of romantic~ feels. She really needs a friend right now, especially with March 11th coming up. In short FOPHIE 4EVAR (even if they're just frans).

Professor Strangely & Sophie - AH I have already gushed at you about how awesome I think she is going to be, so I'm definitely down for some student-teachery things!

Maiko & Sophie: We talked a little bit about this last night, but I would love to hear your seer ideas. I've always come up short with how to integrate it into my writing in a natural way, so working with Mai could help Sophie with that (and subsequently me).

Linus & Sophie: OH MY GOSH HE IS SO ADORABLE. Sophie would totally love getting a tree frog as a present. She kind of wants to smoosh all the first years for being super adorable. Maybe he could ask for help with one of the subjects she's actually good at for an excuse to talk to her?

Zel & Sophie: Zephie <3 She just adores him. We talked a little bit about their thread and his desire to stay neutral in the aftermath of Fophie, which she totally respects. She's just glad he doesn't totally hate her or something.

Juni & Sophie: AH Juni makes me sad in the same way Sophie makes me sad because a girl needs her mother. Sophie gets the anger, but she had to come to her own terms with werewolves and their dangers, and make peace with what happened because if she hadn't her anger would have just burned her up from the inside. I don't think she would fight with Juni, it would just make her really sad /ramble ramble ramble/

We talked about Belle and Sophie a bit in cbox. I think they would be great friends and I'd love to talk to you more about how they would become friends.

Belle is really shy and quiet, but that's a good counter for Sophie I think.
