[Mar 2] I've got my red dress on tonight (Ji-Hyun)

Not many people were privy to the little thing that made Bran Blackwell who he was, and even less knew about how the Slytherin spent his time when he wasn't playing perfect little student, had impromptu rendezvous in some cupboard or ordered the choir club and his friends about. The fact that he sometimes dallied in fashion design and creation was one of those little things he liked to keep to himself, his family and a few close friends. However, specifically because of the secrecy of it, it sometimes proved rather difficult to diligently work at it. Especially given that he much rather preferred creating for the female body... Which is why, he often found himself in need of a model. Also, why sometimes he kidnapped his friends - or in more desperate cases, such as now - the first person he met that fit the bill.

"You" he suddenly stopped, grabbing Jeun Ji-Hyun by her wrist and turning her around, just as she was passing him by. Giving her a once-over, Bran's brows slowly twitched, and his mouth pouted a bit as he hmmm-ed softly. With his other hand - mysterious silky red fabric draped over the arm - he turned her around slowly. "You must be a size eight—nine, no?" he said absentmindedly still focused on analyzing every angle of her body. Finally facing her, his face serious, he nodded once and smiled sweetly at her. "You'll do" he continued with a satisfied smirk and without letting her wrist free, started towards the door for one of the empty classrooms.

With the door closed behind him, he led Ji-Hyun to the middle of the classroom. "Strip" he said completely out of nowhere as he unfurled the fabric off his arm, checking it for a few seconds. "Oh, honey no..." he suddenly said, slightly pained, raising his head to Ji-Hyun as he realized how what he said could be interpreted. "I snap my fingers in Z formation, love musical theater and own fifty different shades of glitter. I really, really love the D" he said with an amused little snort. "Strip, so you can put this on" he continued smiling sweetly, with an arched eyebrow, as he handed her the red dress.

“Me?” Ji-Hyun repeated, startled and already wondering what she’d done that meant she’d been grabbed like that. Bran liked her, or she thought he did, and she hadn’t done anything recently to upset him. “It depends,” she said, uncomfortable with the sudden scrutiny, “On what shop I go to, and…” she broke off when she was interrupted, following him obediently – although without the hand on her wrist, she would have needed prompting in order to do so.

The click of the door behind her made her turn briefly, looking at it warily before returning her attention to Bran. When the order came, she could only stare at him in shock. It took a moment, but then she began to stutter out a protest, “but Bran, I don’t really,” only to be cut off again, left frowning at him in confusion. It was about more than just Bran being gay, though, because Ji-Hyun didn’t really want to lose the layers protecting her from the cold. Even if Hogwarts was heated, probably through a combination of magic and plumbing, it was still winter and it wasn’t the kind of weather to stand around scantily clad in.

The explanation wasn’t much, but the dress was beautiful. She reached out slowly, pausing just before she touched it, waiting for confirmation before realising that she was supposed to wear it, so of course it was okay. When she took it, it was still with caution, and she held it up in front of herself like a shield, staring at it longingly. “I know you’re, like, not… attracted to girls, but please could you turn around? Or stand guard at the door, or something, just… please don’t look,” she asked as politely as possible.

If it was a favour for a friend, it was okay – and it was just like changing, just with someone else in the room, and she had done that before. It was just different, when they were a boy, even knowing that technically there was no difference. But it still felt different to her.

Bran blissfully ignored whatever Ji-Hyun had gotten about muttering and continued on his way purposefully, with the sole goal of seeing her out of... whatever the bloody hell she was wearing and into the dress. The Slyhterin always thought the girl was very attractive, but decided that something must be changed in her attire and the way she was carrying herself. She was cute and endearing, yes, but that always invited unwanted trouble.

"I can throw a warming charm at you, if it makes you more comfortable" he said, still seeing her reluctance, which was both cute, but quite irritating at the moment. Without awaiting for an answer, he flicked his wand in her direction and smiled, obviously pleased at himself. He let the dress pass from his arm to her wand, and waited a little anxiously for her to get. on. with. it. At her little request, he snorted under his breath, shaking his head a little, but nevertheless, turned towards the door, swishing his wand at it to lock it.

There, that should do the job. After a few moments of impatiently tapping his foot with his arms crossed he let out a little sigh. "You done yet, hon?" he inquired, just a little anxiously. He was sure, with the right hair and make-up, it would look absolutely gorgeous on her. Once he got the okay, to turn around he stared with a bright smile at her, hands clasped over his chest. "That's positively stunning, now, you only need—" and in a flurry of concentration, he set his wand to work, making use of her own clothes and transfiguring away. "Hold that and put these on" he said to the shoes and clutch he had just transfigured.

"Now sit still and close your eyes" he continued, more seriously, taking his wand to her face, applying careful layers of beautification charms, and styling charms on her hair. After a good amount of time he finally exhaled and took a few steps back to admire his work. His smile was tentative, but serious and he nodded, clapping his hands once. "Bravo me" he mused with a little giggle. Flicking his wand at a wall, he turned it into a reflective surface, gesturing for Ji-Hyun to approach it. Taking in her new look in the mirror, he kept watch over her shoulder for her reaction. "Well? What's the verdict?"
