He has gone from Auror to mercenary, from adventurer to murderer to fugitive to professor, but all throughout his long life, he has avoided putting down roots until now.After the death of his father a few months before, Professor Storm was left with plenty to think on and a house to sell. He was born in Germany and spent much of his life abroad, but since taking the Defense position at Hogwarts, England has become more and more of a home to him. When the sale of his family home finally closes in February, Ignan sets out with his nephew Johann one dreary day to look at properties in hopes of finding one to buy. The home that he happens upon in this snapshot is far from ideal, but for a longtime wanderer who has finally found his life settling around him, it may be comfortable enough.Kit has been quietly exploring the interplay of her characters through a series of snapshots, and though this one may show a quiet day, it is rife with the nuances that make both Ignan and Johann so distinct.
