Caleb is a slightly overweight Caucasian boy with short, but messy, black hair and black eyes. He always wears circular blue glasses with thin lenses, and is rarely seen without his favorite cap.
In general, Caleb tends to wear plain T-shirts of varying colors (generally dark ones, though he occasionally wears white clothing) and dark blue jeans.

Height: 5'8".
Weight: 165 lbs.

Personality Description:
Nice is probably not the first word you'd think of when asked to describe Caleb. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to come up with a person who describes him with any sort of unambiguously positive adjective at all; he's an impudent teenager that tends to invoke the anger of everybody he meets.

Teachers are repelled by his apathetic attitude towards his grades and the amount of homework he ignores on a regular basis. Most of his fellow students ignore him because of his candor and withdrawn mannerisms. Besides his brother, only friends on the internet enjoy his company, where he is outgoing and easy to talk to, though he is often considered too honest when he isn't mistaken for a troll.

He's been accused by his parents and teachers alike of having an internet addiction, a term that he's disputed vigorously (though he notably hasn't denied these accusations outright).

Besides using the computer, Caleb's hobbies include reading, writing and taking daily jogs around the neighborhood.

History:
Caleb was born and raised in Los Angeles as the first child of the Greene Family, which (at the time) consisted of nurse Samantha Greene and journalist Tyler Greene. He'd always preferred solitude over the company of others, even at an early age, which worried his parents greatly.

Eventually, at the age of five, the decision was made to move to England, in his Grandmother Edna's house, so that he could live in a nice neighborhood and become more outgoing.

When he was six, his mother became pregnant, and on the eighth of March, 1999, Caleb found that he had a new brother - Joshua. While he was jealous at first, Joshua soon became his confidant, and the two were inseparable despite the age gap.

As the years passed by, Caleb became more withdrawn from society, eventually finding it difficult to speak to people. By the time he started his secondary education, he'd already gained notoriety as an apathetic loner-type,  and students stayed away from him.

Teachers tried to encourage him to be more friendly, but grew tired of trying, especially when he didn't bother tackling any of his assignments. He and his family received many complaints from teachers, and he'd been suspended more than once in his school life. In fact, he's been threatened with expulsion more than once, though since he's never failed any examinations, the school has yet to follow through.

On the thirtieth of January, Caleb's father scheduled a camping trip for the family in an attempt to get both Caleb and Joshua to appreciate their family and motivate Caleb to work harder at school. It was supposed to be a simple thing; something that the whole family could laugh and joke about. Unfortunately, it ended prematurely when Joshua was bitten by what Caleb described to be a "Large, Bipedal wolf".

The wizarding world, not being nearly as incompetent as it once was, investigated. They were likely expecting Caleb's brother to be a normal muggle, and simply memory-charm the family once they learned all they could about the fugitive wolf.

On the sixth of February, they found out about Joshua's innate magical ability, and his newfound affliction.

Describe your job duties and how you go about them:
As a student, Caleb is supposed to learn, complete assignments on time and prepare for tests and examinations. However, while Caleb does learn in school, he never completes his homework and only barely passes his examinations.

Elaborate on your expertise in your field:
None, though it may be of note that while he's apathetic to his grades, he's passed every class he's taken, albeit barely.

Writing Sample:
The door and the walls surrounding it were white. There were four white chairs just outside, two of which were occupied by a man and a woman, both of whom were wearing white shirts. The lights shone white light onto the white tiles on the floor.

Above the door was a sign with the words "ER", which was currently shining a bright red. It disturbed Caleb; the redness was just so out of place.

"Let me get this straight." Before him was a police officer with dark blue clothing and an incredulous look on his face. "Your brother was bitten by a... Bipedal wolf, larger than a man." The blue also disturbed Caleb, though not to the same extent as the red. It disrupted the purity of the room.

Oh, right. He was supposed to talk.

"I think so. Might've been an ordinary wolf, though; fear tends to make your mind exaggerate what happened." He didn't actually think that his mind was exaggerating the truth, mind; he was simply trying to make his story a bit more plausible.

Incredulity was still present on the officer's face, but he didn't say anything, instead jotting down a few notes on his notepad. "Alright, thank you for your time, Caleb. I know this must be hard for you - " there was a notable lack of sympathy in his voice " - and perhaps with this information, we can prevent such an occurrence happening again."

Caleb only nodded, still numb by the evening's events. "Can I go back to my seat, then?"

"Yes. Oh, I'd like to talk to you-" Before the officer could finish his sentence, a ringing noise sounded out from the emergency room, and a nurse exited.

Immediately, the whole family rushed over to her. "Is my baby alright, nurse?" Samantha Greene asked in a hushed voice, her eyes reddened from all of her crying.

"Don't worry, ma'am, your son is in good condition, all things considered. We'll need to keep him in the hospital for a bit, but the worst is over."

It was like the suffocating hands of the unknown had finally let the Greene family breathe. Samantha dropped to her knees, hanging tightly to the nurse's outfit and sobbing deeply, while Tyler breathed a sigh of relief he's apparently been holding for hours and smiled, albeit only slightly.

Only Caleb remained uneasy. "Will Joshua be fine when he gets out?" He asked uneasily. "He lost a chunk of his leg; will he be able to walk?"

"With some rehabilitation, yes. He'll be a bit weaker, but he should be fine." The nurse smiled reassuringly, and for the first time in what felt like years, Caleb grinned back.

Sum up your character in one paragraph:
Caleb is a 16 year old muggle that's apathetic towards his grades and instead spends his time surfing the web. While he has a good relationship with his ten year old brother, Joshua, his relationship with his parents is tense, and he repels fellows students and teachers alike. Only recently, he saw his brother bitten by what he described to be a 'bipedal wolf that was larger than a man', and what wizards undoubtedly know to be a werewolf.
