"Made of more wins than I could possibly count, Hazel is long overdue for a MMoW. Whether it's the sharp-tongued and quick-witted Alex, the gawky, adorable, but not to be underestimated Leon or the one and only, absolutely fabulous Izola, Hazel's characters are always keeping you on the edge of excitement, waiting to see their next move. Not only are her characters unique, sturdily constructed and realistic in a tangible way, but she is every bit a dedicated writer. A real wordsmith, her writing is articulate, consistent, witty and sure to leave an impression of the best kind. Outside of AO, Hazel is one of the loveliest, funniest and beautiful people I've ever met and I'm truly honored to call her one of my closest friends. Having Hazel in any thread and plot is sure to make the experience absolutely fantastic and if you haven't had the opportunity to thread with her yet, you should do so at the earliest convenience!"

"A funny, brilliant writer and an all-around fabulous person, I honestly can’t think of anyone who deserves the title more. With an entire fount of creativity at her disposal– as well as a willingness to explore it –writing with Hazel is just as much of a joy as it is to speak with her, or simply watch her characters in action; each and everyone of them is fantastic in his or her own way, and it’s so easy to fall in love with them before you even realize. Without a doubt I can say that for every one of them, there are at least three of mine who love them in some way—some, unquestionably, more than others. But I think that says more about Hazel as a person than a writer, though– she’s just so… remarkable, so unique, and creative and generous and lovable, that any extension of myself can’t help but like her. I don’t think there’s a single word that can properly encompass, and express, just how wonderful she is. And if you haven’t had the pleasure of finding that out for yourself… well. You should."

But then she finally seemed to come into 'er senses and he saw 'er smile, really smile, and he thought she had a pretty smile and—'Rein yer horses in, mate' his subconscious suddenly interjected. Point was it seemed 'er head was out of the biscuits. He could deal with angry Carstairs, or irritated Carstairs, but not with some draggy, silent and awkward Carstairs. And then she bit 'er lip, before continuing 'er speech and Phillip suddenly turned to glare at some scowler grabbing at his pint, like it was the last drop o' water in the desert. He hoped his gob did not go into its bloody stupid habit of turning red in an instant.

He spoke quietly watching her, and listening to her confession while taking in absolutely every detail of her attire. Izola was absolutely one of the most beautiful women he knew, and even with his taste leaning towards men he couldn’t help but be envious of the torch light as it flickered softly against her face.

For Leon’s effort, Rick took pity on him and muted his grin– though he still stared as much as ever, clearly pleased with what he saw and unashamed to show it. With his family and friends either absent or preoccupied, it was easy for the normally taciturn wizard to just sit back and enjoy himself as his date grew flustered, grasping for straws. When Leon~~’s mouth moved~~ spoke, there was a lot to track, and Rick –more at ease with every passing second and feeling so damn smug– didn’t want to miss one bit of it.
