Wand: Tiberius' wand is exactly eleven inches long. It is made of chestnut wood with a dragon heartstring core. The wood is inflexible and the handle has a very knobby surface.

Physical Description: Tiberius is of average height- standing around 5'8" tall. He's not overly musclebound, but is definitely fit and possesses an intimidating air- though that is more due to his facial expressions than his physical make up.

He has medium brown hair, worn shortish, and it is very thick. Tiberius has a high forehead and very thick, low set eyebrows. Rus has dull blue eyes. His nose is large, narrower at the bridge and wider at the base, with a bump in the middle from where it has been broken (multiple times). Tiberius has thick lips, but a narrow mouth. His face is angled- with a strong jawline and high cheekbones. His ears are a tad large and stick out from the side of his head.

Tiberius wears nice clothes. Fitted sweaters, slacks, shiny shoes, leather belts, etc. His appearance means a lot to him and it is always important to keep up a certain appearance, after all. His uniform is usually impeccable (unless he's been fighting) and he enjoys wearing fancy dress robes to nice occasions.

Personality Description: Raised in a pureblood family, he was taught from a young age that he was a man with a lot of worth. Though the Bulstrodes are not the most wealth of pureblood families, (settling somewhere along the middle class standards), they have always conducted themselves with pride- and Tiberius is no exception to that. He thinks highly of himself and is not at all afraid to tell you so. He's very vocal about how great he happens to think of himself.

He is not a natural born leader, instead taking his orders and social cues from those who are more charming and charismatic than he. He's not a very bright boy- depending on raw talent rather than book smarts in the NEWT level classes he is taking. He's good with his wands, and good with a wand- but magical theory escapes him, and he's terrible at anything that requires a lot of extensive knowledge or extra studying. It could be said, in all fairness, that Tiberius is all brawn and no brains.

By now he has a reputation as a troublemaker and has had his fair share of trouble from starting fights, finishing fights, throwing hexes, etc. He tends to rely more on brute force than magical prowess. Though his hexes/curses pack a heavy punch, the ones he opts for are typically violent rather than creative or subtle, and he uses his fists just as often as his wand. He is brutally honest and hasn't quite mastered the art of using flattery or curbing his words to spare others pain, discomfort, etc.

Family is important to Tiberius. He's very close with both of his parents, and over protective of his younger sister- a fellow sixth year. He wants to one day get married and have children of his own, though doesn't say much about that for fear of looking weak. He is terrible with girls, though. Logically, he understands they are genteel creatures and should be treated as such- but in practice, he's kind of terrible at not mouthing off or being violent around them. He figures one day he'll get a pretty pureblood wife despite his short comings in his personality- all for the sake of preserving bloodline. (Though it s a lot easier for pretty Slytherin girls to manipulate him than for guys to do so. With the exception of his ringleader Theo Whitman.)


History: Tiberius Eskandar Bulstrode was born November 2, 1992. His father, Balthazar, is of the notorious Bulstrode family and works at the Ministry of Magic as an Unspeakable. His mother is a Wentworth and was a stay-at-home mother until her children started Hogwarts, at which point she started working part time as a mediwitch at St. Mungo's. Tiberius is the oldest child, with a younger sister who is little more than nine months younger than he is.

Growing up, he had a good childhood. His parents took interest in his life, taught him to take pride in himself and who he is, as well as basic magical information every child needs. He was raised with purist views, being one of the few lines of the Bulstrode family left with their purity. (Most existing Bulstrodes are halfbloods now.) Tiberius took these views to heart, and thinks of purebloods as superior. Though he looks down on muggleborns and muggles, he is less hostile toward those of wizarding birth/halfblood status. (Even if they are still inferior to him.)

As a child, he took a great interest in physical activities. He always enjoyed helping his mother in the garden and liked animals. He also became fiercely protective of his little sister from early on. So close in age, he thinks of himself as her keeper. He would beat up neighborhood children who teased her and took an interest in making sure he wasn't associating with the "wrong sort".

When he started Hogwarts, the sorting hat barely had time to reach his head before calling out SLYTHERIN. He figured out quickly he was unlike many of his housemates. He lacked the drive and ambition that they had, and it wasn't long before he found himself under the wing of a more charismatic pureblood in his year by the name of Theo Whitman. From first year onward he has been, more or less, Whitman's henchman.

His grades have always been shoddy. He's got a natural talent with his wand, but struggles with magical theory. He was terrible at subjects requiring a lot of study or were extremely reliant on math/books. His father was disappointed with his academic performance, but Tiberius had little interest in trying to strive for excellent grades. What was the point, after all? Tiberius took an interest in quidditch, as well, finding it a great way to stay in shape and to exert a lot of his natural hostility. Rus is in trouble quite often and loses a lot of points for Slytherin thanks to his confrontational nature- which makes his relationships with housemates strained at times.

Now in his NEWT years, he is continuing study in his wand classes- Charms, Transfiguration, and Defense. Defense is his weakest area of wand magic, as he prefers to inflict harm rather than prevent it. He's also still taking Herbology (he has a green thumb, surprisingly) and Magical Creatures. He's good with animals and his stern nature makes it easier for him to handle finicky or dangerous creatures. His grades are still lackluster, however, and chances are he won't have many options once he gradates from Hogwarts thanks to his lack of interest in improving them.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: At first glance, it is curious that apart from his bloodline that he wound up in Slytherin. He is not particularly cunning, manipulative, or ambitious- and he lacks leadership qualities. But what he does have is a need for self preservation, he is quite resourceful when the need calls for it, he loves the idea of being powerful, and is determined to achieve his goals no matter what it takes- breaking the rules is no big deal to him, really. He also has a strong sense of house pride, and fraternity with his fellow Slytherins. Yes, he's purist. But even those in his house who are halfblood are spared his purist rants for the sake of preserving house unity and putting on a united front. (Even so, he is not overly close with many halfbloods.)

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Tiberius is a boy with far more character flaws than strengths. He is arrogant, jealous, confrontational, short tempered, judgmental, stubborn, resentful, and can be obsessive. Rus is a follower and easily manipulated by those with charisma. Though generally a bad apple, he has a few redeeming qualities. He's very loyal to his good friends, protective and appreciative of family, and has a natural aptitude for herbology, creatures, and his wand.
