"The Harcroft family -- Josh, Sam, and Charles, all written by the enigmatic gentleman that we fondly call Josh -- is one of the great bulwarks of Absit Omen.  They are good guys to a fault, always willing to do what's right, even when that doesn't always make them popular with colleagues or classmates.  As hard as it is to imagine AO without the Harcrofts carrying the crimson mantle, it's equally difficult to imagine our community without Josh.  The utter master of concise characterization, he has been with us through thick and thin and we love the bright flashes of personality that he's shown us, both in and out of character.  It's always a pleasure to have a Harcroft join you in your thread!"

• Figaro laughed at Josh's implication that he enjoyed being a know-it-all in class - Fig had about to answer that was exactly what people thought, but when Josh pulled a face, Figaro eased up on him.  Kid took a lot of crap in classes sometimes, but he was just keepin' on with the same shit as everyone else was dealing with, plus a little extra being a Prefect and an Auror's kid.
