He watched for her reaction with panic in his eyes, kind of like a deer in the headlights. This was it, this was where boundaries were drawn or erased and... he wanted. It wasn't that he didn't, not at all, it was just this disgust at having to associate Ellie with someone like her, because of the cretin memory of his body. He was going to open his mouth to counter that yes, yes he was actually pretty fucked up, but the tone of Ellie's voice implied she'd have his balls on a platter if he did, so he closed his mouth and huffed, fanning his fingers over neck.

He swallowed tightly, seeing—feeling that she meant it and was hit again by a wave of embarrassment for his own ridiculous behavior. It soon turned into complete humiliation as he just realized what he'd been implying and he opened his mouth several times, gutted noises coming from his throat but no actual words. He wanted to passionately dispel the idea, even if it had been just a joke. There was nothing more horrifying than the thought of taking advantage of... well, anybody. Much like it had happened to himself what seemed like a lifetime ago.

But Ellie was lovely and right after, she put his worries to rest, and he nodded in response, smiling fondly at her. He was happy too... not just doing this, but generally. This was fucking incredible. And for just a tiny moment, just then, he decided to tuck his worries at the back of his head and just. let. go. He grinned around the kiss and took the opportunity to push one leg between hers and grab firmly at her hip to flip them over. He laughed as they came close to tumbling over the edge of the bed, but squirmed about until she was comfortably settled between his legs. He looked at her with a playful little smirk and snaked both hands under her shirt, lightly caressing the small of her back.

"Oh, really?" he asked with eyes half squinted and a quirked eyebrow. "And here I was thinking you liked walking on the wild side..." He smiled slyly and pushed himself up to graze his teeth softly over her pulse point, before sucking a small red mark into her skin. She had to know he'd be a bit possessive... surely.

Ellie watch his face shift almost comically from one expression to another as he appeared to process her response to his question. She wanted to tell him to calm down, even if it might have been repetitive at this point, to reassure him further that she understood he had his issues, that they could take their time, that she was enjoying this moment. If there were also urges to roll her eyes at how much he seemed to doubt himself, to smile at his panicky, open-mouthed reaction to her joke, or his stormy-but-adorable, childish huffing, she tried to temper them. There would be time to affectionately poke fun at him later (and not in the way of girlfriends past). Sander seemed to relax after the moment, which relieved her as much it pleased her.

The sudden lead he took in exploring their new boundaries, here in flat he shared with his brother, on his bed, a corner of London where Eleanor might not have expected to find herself a week ago, was thrilling. She joined his laughter and contributed to the muddle of limbs, soon finding herself at a new vantage point, on top. She bit her bottom lip in a smile as she looked down at him, hair hanging about her. “It depends on what kind of wild it is, really. I can be a little picky,” she lied. Well, half-lied. She was picky when it suited her, and that usually worked to her benefit. “I guess stealing my own property isn’t very wild,” she lamented, and it quickly turned into a hushed breath as Sander’s mouth explored her skin. There were ways to make up for that, to turn it into something wild. She closed her eyes lightly and let her own hands wander, let them say what was on her mind. Yes, walking on the wild side was brilliant.
