The owl that delivers this letter is one of the post office's finest, a regal silver giant of a bird who does not startle when the envelope releases a puff of golden confetti and the subtle scent of lilac upon the first touch to its intricate seal. The card then proceeds to open itself, the invitation whipping out of the envelope to hover at face height. There are tinny trumpets and a grand reading of the contents by a disembodied singing voice. As soon as it is complete the invitation stuffs itself back into its envelope and falls to the floor.

Any future attempt to pick up, examine, or otherwise move the card results in a repeat performance.
