The following note is crumbled into a ball and tossed at the back of Noah Pratt's head as soon as Professor Jowd's back is turned during the first year History of Magic Class on Friday, January 22nd.



I saw your DAD walkin down the staircase.  What is he doin here???  Do you think he came to arrest a professor??

This message is scribbled in barely legible handwriting with ink splodges. It is folded into an airplane.

It was a near miss intercepting the airplane before Professor Jowd saw her.  Gwenna scowled at Noah as she snatched it out of the air.  She jammed the note under her desk so that she could read it, and then began to furiously scribble a reply.  This one came in the form of another ball, this time aimed at his head.


No I am SERIOUS.

Who do you think it is??

I don't know about you but I am not gonna go quietly.

After having his head hit, Noah decides to throw this one at Gwenna’s face while their professor isn’t looking. He offers her a grin and turns back in his seat.

I'm Sirius too!

Storm definitely! He’s a brains eater. Look, this is my pa saving us from him.



What if he tried to eat you? I’d give him a Slytherin instead. You’d get stuck in his teeth.

The launched ammunition takes the Gryffindor girl by surprise.  Gwenna looks startled as it bounces off her forehead, and she only just manages to make a grab for it and snatch it out of sight before Professor Jowd turns around.  Scowling, she shoots Noah a nasty look and bends over to read it under the table.

She then spends the rest of the class period working on something in return.  It is only once class ends and the first year students are dismissed to make their way to Astronomy that she shoves the return note back at her friend.

It does not look anything like Professor Storm.

Don't you think it could be Professor Trishna??
