After the death of her beloved sister in December, the young Slytherin has not been quite herself. Or rather...she has become too much of herself, as her most human aspects seem to have crumbled away since the crushing loss, leaving her basest personality exposed.The part-veela student has been showing her darker leanings, but they are never so on display as on the night of 8 January. In the middle of the night, she snatches first year Dione Sawyer as she's walking back from Astronomy, dragging her into the Room of Requirement so that she can test an experimental potion on her.With no voice and with her hands tied, Dione is unable to even cry out for help. But things take another twist again when Hexy Claggin, the alter ego of Casey O'Doherty and one of Amara's fellow members of the Gwyllion Fae, stumbles upon them.
