He nodded, as usual finding it easier to allow Aisling to sort these sorts of things out. She was unlikely to chose a destination he disapproved of, after all, and she did seem happiest with a task before her, much like he did. That said, perhaps not too many tasks - Sophia had been correct in her concerns, though thankfully  for what was a happy reason rather than an incredibly worrying one.

Krix returned with the tea tray, and Tarron shifted on the couch to pick up his cup, looking at it a moment before he finally spoke the question he couldn't help but wonder.

"These...muggle tests," he said, pausing to sip the tea (which naturally was quite good, Krix having long learned what he liked). "What can they tell you? Will we know if it's...well, what color of decor we should be planning on, for one?" His tone was his usual mix of skepticism and curiosity.

Aisling took a few bites of the fruit first. It was easy to forget how hungry she was, at times, at least until she actually began to eat. And so she was silent for a few moments, eating, before she turned to her tea. There was something calming about the tea, about having the warm cup in her hand. "The earliest ones will just be to check for any concerns, and to make sure that everything is happening as it should."

Her voice wavered just a little, but her expression remained calm. "And perhaps if we're having twins again, though I find that prospect exhausting." One infant seemed like enough to manage, let alone two. And at her age?

"And yes, they'll be able to see some of that as well. Not yet, I think, but I'm not sure of all the details. Would you like to come with for that test, whenever it is?" She set her cup down, and smiled faintly. "Not sure about the decor, though. I may want to do it in a soft yellow or such instead." A shrug. Redecorating had barely crossed her mind at this point.  Though it would need to be done. One more item for the list.

The tea steamed as he held the saucer with a delicate touch that only came via years of practice, and Tarron watched it as he carefully considered his response, lips twisting slightly. Muggle medicine was an alien world to him – one he had been raised to believe was full of knives, blood and death. Muggles, his mother had said, were entirely too eager to chop off body parts, even though the silly creatures didn’t know how to reattach them! Gods knew how they dealt with children.

But Aisling had visited them before and seemed confident in their abilities, and in that he found some small comfort…of sorts, anyhow. He still suspected incompetence on their part, but he doubted his disapproval would stop Aisling. It never did when she was truly determined.

“I see.” He sipped the tea again, looking at her as he considered his response. When he did speak, it was with some care, as he considered each world carefully. “I should like to accompany you, I think. Though these…tests are a bit beyond me, it would be improper for you to go alone.” And he did have to make sure if the doctor she visited was proper, after all, if they were to be handling or observing anything...private.

“I do hope it is an only child,” he agreed, setting the tea down to fetch a biscuit. “This late on, I cannot imagine another two.”

Aisling let out a sigh of relief at his words, and smiled over the top of her cup. "Thank you. I'll make certain to find someone who understands your concerns. There are such doctors out there." The sort familiar with both halves of her life, for whatever reason.

And Merlin forbid that anything be improper. Tarron had such ways of worrying, and even at their most frustrating they still showed how much he cared. "And perhaps I can find something on these tests before we go. You'll have to look at all the pictures they'll take." Small and grainy as they might be. It was still something.

"Whatever happens, we'll manage it together." She brushed her hand against his and slumped back, her eyes blinking closed for a moment.
