It had been a bit of a late night for Trina. A friend had been dealing with a fairly bad break-up, and Trina had been there to pick up the pieces of her friend. Lots of chocolate and alcohol had been consumed on her friend’s part. Finally, Trina had been able to get her to calm down, stop crying, and get to sleep. And that was something Trina wanted to do herself. After setting up some morning (likely) hangover supplies, and some more chocolates, the singer was able to head back to her own home in Hogsmeade.
Now that she had returned home, she was preparing to go to sleep. She’d just gotten into bed, and it’d been barely a minute after her head hit the pillow when she heard someone singing outside her window. Trina sat up and listened. The singing slowly got louder, and a little less coherent. Getting out of her bed, she moved to the window and took a look outside. There was a young man ambling about in the alleyway, who had quite obviously had too much to drink. Unfortunately, he didn’t seem likely to stop singing either.
Trina opened her window to the cold air. “Excuse you, but some people would like to sleep. And find it difficult to do so with your off-key singing going on.”
Granted, he wasn’t really off-key. But as Trina was tired, and wanting to sleep, she got a little snippy. As she looked again at the boy, she noticed he didn’t look much older than twenty. Probably just out of Hogwarts and enjoying the time to go out every night and drink. Trina remembered those days, but had quickly grown out of them. Though she didn’t remember being loud and obnoxious while making her way home, singing loudly in the streets.
