Having gotten to know Gigi much better since their run-in late in the last term, Raine could safely say that she understood more about muggle computer games than could possibly be useful to her. Rather humorous, that muggles spent so much of their leisurely hours on magical fantasies.
Nonetheless the Slytherin's stories weren't boring and she had been attentive in listening until- "You see anything?"
"Not see..." the redhead replied slowly, her pace slackening as they reached a turn in the corridor. "I hear something." And if she had been in animagus form, her ears would have pricked and tail twitched. Now she only paused to scan the passageway.
Footsteps that didn't step in beat to their own; not a rushed pair either, so they didn't know the prefects were close. Raine glanced at Georgiana, eyes sharp.
"Somebody up ahead," she whispered with a smile- her wand, carrying a subtle lumos light, dimmed so that it was barely a glimmer between the two witches. "You may do the honours, prefect Trishna."
