Physical Description: Daisy hovers at an overwhelming height of 5'9" and unfortunately, still growing. Her slender body gives the impression that her legs are like that of a giraffe’s long and disproportionate. Still, her height and build conveys a rare sense of eloquence typically associated with models, although her personality and mannerisms would oppose that. Her natural hair color is 'blonde' but she often changes both the color and length to suit her 'character'. At the moment her hair is shoulder length and blonde but who knows when that may change. Because she's a student she abides strictly to the standard uniform, always docking a perfectly pressed white blouse. Outside of School she attempts to enact the character she wishes to play which also may change given the circumstances.
Personality Description: Daisy is passionate about stories. There was just something about a story that seemed to shift her out of her own world and into a new one, each story unique and adventurous. It didn't matter if it was written, recorded, or taped. So long as the story was powerful enough to take her to a new place, somewhere with adventure, goals, and a purpose. She lives her life like a story, eager to understand her characters better and also to create a world of fantasy into reality. She's not crazy but people tend to assume the worst when they first meet her and it really depends upon which character she decides to portray. Because of this, most of her friends, or people that continue to associate with her had the fortune to meet her during her 'good' character phases as opposed to the more radical type. This in a way is one of her bad traits, in that she might sometime get so caught up in her own characters that she inadvertently ruins friendships or potential friendships.
History: Although it wasn't as uncommon as it had been back in the day, divorce was still a major issue. But Daisy's mother Nora, grew tired of the constant absence of her workaholic husband. She was tired of the lack of attention both her and Daisy received and eventually decided to split. She assumed that was it for marriage, that she would no longer stand for the shackles that marriage brought but within the year she fell madly in love with the unexpected, a young muggle man named Tom.
Muggles and witches hitching together wasn't what made it unexpected, but rather because Nora avoided the muggle world as much as possible. To her, muggles were like primates to humans, not quite evolved and far behind in years. Still, the re-marriage worked and Tom turned out to be more than just a no-nothing muggle. He provided love, attention, and satisfied her need for adventure. Something that wasn't so mundane as housework and child-rearing.
With her 'real' dad she had always been shut off, quiet, and well mannered in hopes of pleasing him enough so that he would stay around longer and play. But within just the first few months Tom had managed to bring her out of her timidity. He'd tell her stories of his adventures to space and meetings with the ancient civilizations. He'd speak of the wonders of the world, and each night filled her mind with dreams of herself being in those adventures. As she got older she became fascinated with that skill. The skill to make a great story. And every night, it was her that told him stories instead of the other way around.
On her eleventh birthday she received an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. She couldn't have been more pleased to go. Where there was magic, there was story! But Hogwarts, as it turned out. Was just like school except with different subjects. All the classes shared a similar principle. Transfiguration was like math... Potions like Science. The only difference appeared in the labels used. If she was going to have a real adventure it seemed.. she'd have to make it one and not wait on Hogwarts to deliver that sweet satisfaction that a story presented.
And so she began to take on persona's as she went through the school year. Her very first persona drew inspiration from an Alice-esque character. But instead of falling through the rabbit hole and ending up in wonderland, she found herself in Hogwarts. Baffled by all and attempting to draw reason from everything, even if she was familiar with most of the magical oddities. Within her first year she excelled in subjects that didn't require magical expertise. History of Magic and Potions were her top classes. Her professors enjoyed her questioning and interest and were patient with her as they saw her desperation to learn. But their opinions changed the following year. When Daisy decided to enact the character of an arrogant know-everything student, which gave the impression that Daisy wasn't who she appeared to be. Professors that had previously took pity on her now looked at her with contempt for being betrayed. But she was none the wiser to this switch, and stayed in perfect character.
Some thought she was bipolar, others thought she was crazy. Those who thought her 'quirky' were her friends. As she grew older she learned that character building through friends were more exciting than going solo and she became less concerned with making up everything completely, and began to allow her 'real' self emerge.

Writing Sample: The dank dungeons were cold as the outside snow froze it's very surroundings. It was so cold that one could see their own breath as they breathed. The students were all unusually close to each other, desperate to keep warm by the warmth of their peers. The only sounds that echoed throughout the empty chamber were the tired drones of the professor as he lectured on the benefits of newt tails to their recent concoctions. The break in his rolling drone was in due part from his attempts to quiz the students.
"And what works well with newt tails?" he questioned the boy sitting before her. Daisy shrunk slightly in order to hide herself behind the mass before her. Her head slumped over the desk, eyes watching wildly the scene surrounding her.
"Warts puss, sir" the boy answered, unaware that he would now be her shield to safety.
"Correct. 3 points to Ravenclaw"
In a quiet tone she whispered to herself "Displeased by the students accuracy he awards 3 points, enough to pass as legit... but not enough to elicit favor. " The professor droned on in the background, asking about the next ingredient but she was too transfixed in her narrative, she continued, lips never wavering "--He seeks out a more stupid target.. desperate to unleash a wrath of mockery to ensure his domineering statu---"
"may I have your attention----MISS ATTAWAY!" He shouted. Breaking off her narrative. Suddenly all eyes were on her. Each student turned around in order to get a better look at the soon-to-be victim. The professor raised an unruly brow and waited for her to appear like the other sheep of the herd. Daisy slowly lifted her head off the desk and sat up right and listen to the man.
"... Oxtails" she blurted.
The professor gawked ".. thats not what I asked"
"Yes it was.." she asserted, glaring at him. She quoted from him "And what goes well with warts puss may I have your attention----- MISS ATTAWAY" she shouted in his same manner. "oh. Yes. oxtails you may have my attention.." she repeated loudly and grumbled in a lower note "He sneers, clearly displeased with her attentive nature. How he wished he could have torn her apart before the student body in order to raise his own ego as appearing more than just a snively pi---"
"OUT! GET OUT!"
Daisy stood up and began walking out the door repeating after her "the snively pig oinks orders at her to leave. He wishes to break her spirit. Perhaps if he showered he might have garnered more respect"
Sum up your character in one paragraph: Daisy is a quirky type of character. She's often seen mumbling off narratives to her life, or displaying a very out of character action that defines the story she’s creating. She can be frustrating for adults to deal with because she is seen as unpredictable depending on her mood or choice of 'character'. Her teachers worry that she may be sabotaging her studies during phases where her characters may reject the school identity, even if they do not completely identify with her 'real' self, which is hard for people to identify.
