Dallas let go of her hand. Angie was back to talking in full sentences, and Dallas stood up from getting his knee warm with the tea that soaked into his already wet jeans. "Never mind the cup, it's not your fault, it can be fixed, are you okay? You seemed to be in a little bit of a daze there." He picked up the chipped cup and the piece that had come off when it hit the floor and he limped over to another cabinet and grabbed a towel.

He bent down and patted the towel down on the spilled tea. He sat back down in his wooden chair. "Are you sure you're okay? Do you want to head over to the hospital hut?" He had yet to meet Tulojow, and this might have to be the circumstances in which they met. Dal spied the clear plastic bin with the several dozen puffskeins inside. "Thor, push." The dog looked up from it's red toy and jumped into action to where Dalla was pointing. He used his head to slide the container over to Dallas' feet.

"Good dog" Thor perked his ears, then went back to rolling around with his toy. Dallas opened the lid and pulled out a bright orange pygmy puff. "Here" Dallas put the little ball of fluff on the table. It's little white legs waddled over to Angie and began to purr. Animals were the best way to cure anything, at least, that was his philosophy. "He might help with that." Pygmy puffs were the perfect pet. They ate little, they never had to be house trained, and they're always happy to see you.

The puff lost it's balance and rolled over onto it's back and back to his feet again. Dal smiled, he loved puffskeins, it was really a shame they had to be used for a class, who knew what the crazy students would do with the sweet critters, but then he could have them back and try to nurse them back to they're normal adorable selves.

"Yep," Angie chirped, "I'll be fine. Probably just light-headed from umm, the pumpkin juice I drank this morning. It tasted a bit off, you know. And maybe it just did something wierd to my stomach, or something." She said, making excuses for her little glitch.

"Oh my! Are those puffskeins? I read about them last year but I never got to see one up close!" She said excitedly, fogetting about her episode with the tea as she pet the puff between the ears. It purred in delight before falling over and hopping back up. With a delighted smile, Angie scooped him up into her hands, holding him close as he purred.

"Why do you have a box of them? Do you just like them? Or do you need a dose of adorableness every now and then?" She asked, still eyeing the little fuzzy orange puffball that was rolling around in her hands and humming quite contentedly. "Does it have a name? Do they all have names?"

As Dallas had predicted, Angie had gushed over the pygmy puff. "I have a bin of them because the Care of Magical Creatures wants to use them in a class, but I don't really want to let the NEWT students have at them. I also find them ridiculously adorable." Dallas took a sip of his tea, and poured a bit more into his cup. "None of them have names," Dallas plucked a small lime green pygmy puff from the bin.

"Except this one, this is Diego" Dallas took off his hat and put the little pygmy on top of his head. The puff rolled around his his finger-combed hair and om-noming his hazelnut colored locks. "He's my favorite."

"I don't think the NEWT students would be too rough with these little guys," Angie said with a grin. "I'd be more worried if it were the first or second years handlin' them. They would be more liable to mess up and screw one of them up for the rest of their adorable, puffy lives." She said still playing with the little orange puff.

"Aw, Diego. That's a perfect name, and he looks so happy in your hair," she said chuckling. Angie mimicked what Dallas had done and let the orange puff sit on top of her head, letting it snuggle into her hair. "This one can be Delilah, she'll be buddies with Diego when you have to send them off to submit to the NEWT student's research."

They probably looked really silly, a grounds keeper and a fourth year with pygmy puffs on their heads. It was an odd sight, and Angie briefly wondered if Thor had ever tried to eat a puffskein.

"God forbid the first years get their little hands on these, except one that I met yesterday, I think she was a Hufflepuff too. Alice? Alice Hunter, she's sweet." Dallas winced and pulled out his wand, casting a quick episkey on the punctured flesh, and the skin sealed up. "There, good as new" Diego purred and rolled around on his head. "Once I'm done I might give them to a few students, I don't know. You can pick one and keep it, if you'd like."

Dallas felt a little weird, was this part of is job? He didn't want to seem like a creeper that gave fluffy beasties to students and offered them tea, could he get in trouble for that? He really didn't care, but if he could lose his job, he may have to stop having tea with students. "Hey, watch this." Dallas grabbed a full-sized purple puff and threw it in the direction of Thor. The dog dropped it's top and looked at it.

The puff hummed and rolled around. Thor took a few steps towards it. The puff stuck out it's tongue and licked the collie's nose. Thor yelled and jumped up onto Dallas' sitting chair. Dal chuckled and stood up to pick up the purple puff, putting it safely back into it's bin with it's other puffy friends.

Angie smiled, "Alice, yeah she's in my house. She's a great kid; a little off, but she fits in with the rest of us. If she wasn't so awkward, she could have been a Ravenclaw with all the studying that girl does. I'm pretty sure she knows more about the curriculum for History of Magic than I do."

"That's alright," she said. "My kitten, Athena, would probably eat it. She almost ate my COMC project, it's a puck fairy. It was not pretty when I got back from my study group. Nyx probably has PTSD now, and Athena keeps trying to eat her." Angie giggled, "It's actually quite a scene when they agitate each other."

Angie stood up after Thor got his nose licked and returned Delilah to her nest of fluffy, puffly friends. "Thanks for the tea, even if I sort of broke the tea cup. There's nothing a few charms can't fix though. I should probably go, my friends will be wondering why I skipped out on breakfast so early. It was really nice meeting you," she said, making her way to the door after giving Thor an affectionate pat on the head.

"Alright then." Dallas said, plucking the orange ball of fluff out of the bin and holding it a bit, stroking it's little head. "Exactly, it'll be fine, isn't magic just great?" Dal said, putting Delilah on his head next to Diego. "Puck fairies are fun, sometimes they get a little jealous, but it's rather amusing to watch when they get angry." Dallas recalled a time when a pair of faires got into a fist fight in his CoMC class over who's wings were  longer

"It was nice meeting you too, you can stop by any time you'd like, I'll be around." Thor panted as Angie lightly walked down the steps and back towards the castle. The Kelpie throwing it's head as she past.
