Full Character Name: Fyedka Sasha Lovelock

Physical Description: Small for his age, dirty blonde tousled hair and deep blue eyes. Always wears a mysterious little smirk as if he is up to something. On his nose when reading or tinkering with objects a curious little pair of brown glasses find themselves on the brim of his button shaped nose. When his glasses are on the bridge of his nose often there are dirt smudges that follow the constant need to push them back up on his face.

His clothing is mostly muggle, and he finds that he can move easier in his muggle clothing then his robes which feel they weigh the young boy down as he attempts to grow into his some what lengthy lanky limbs. Thankfully for him, the robes will not have to be worn until the end of his summer and his first year at Hogwarts begins. His parents are both brunettes with brown hair, so the young blonde sticks out like a sore thumb when he is at home with them. Though he doesn't quite fit the look of his family, being adopted, the couple along with their little birth daughter make a well rounded unit.  

Personality Description: Loves to read and study. His main hobbies are to tinker and take apart old clocks and watches. His favorite thing is to see how things are made to tick. Though he doesn't know exactly how this will help him in his future, Fyedka figures he is far too young to worry about things that far ahead. His curious mind keeps him ticking, moving and constantly prying into things he has no business in. This drives his parents crazy, though instead of discouraging his desire to learn and study, they encourage him with more positive ventures.

A devoted older brother, Fyedka promised to write to his sister weekly so that his mother would read to Adeline who would be turning four shortly after he went to school for the first year. Being raised by muggles, he has little clue what his world was supposed to be like and is jazzed to have a chance to be something more than just another face in the crowd. When his little sister was born, a half-hearted fear brought him towards thinking that his parents might replace him. His mother and father however let him know early on nothing would change, and they were true to their word making the bond between the boy and his adoptive parents even stronger.

Now that he is old enough to understand fully that his birth parents were something he never expected, Fyedka wants to find them. Granted he knows he is too young to strike up on his own but he is hoping to seek them out by doing research when away from home. Fyedka doesn't want to leave his parents, or his home. What he does want to know is why they left him, who he is, and perhaps a little more about the family he came from.

History: Parents are Rodney and Whitney Lovelock, they adopted five year old Fyedka from a Russian orphanage. The boy was dropped off at this orphanage when he was only a few days old and had no idea his parents were a prominent Russian wizard and his witch mistress. To get rid of his little problem, the Russian Wizard took his baby and dropped him off without any desire to go for him at a later time. The orphanage was understaffed, underfunded, and many of the children had to share beds as well as clothing.

The bright eyed boy was a terror to the nurses and orphanage care workers. When they set him down for a nap he was generally running about or as he became more handy dismantling things that he found of interest. This was what sparked his creativity learning how things worked and what made stuff tick. Fyedka drove them crazy as one by one he took apart radios, clocks, anything that made noise. Thankfully when Whitney Lovelock took one look at the boy she fell in love and wanted to bring the now five year old Fyedka into her home.

Having been unable to give birth herself naturally, the muggle woman and her muggle husband came up the Orphanage with the help of their adoption agency. Fyedka had never expected to be adopted not to be loved and treated right so soon. It was a culture clash and he couldn't speak the language or even read. After months of therapy to get the boy used to his new surroundings, and after hiring a private tutor Fyedka learned to read as well as write.

Rodney a muggle business man found that Fyedka had taken apart and put back together several of his items, mostly back to working order. This prompted him to bring him back items from his many business trips to give to Fyedka for his own twiddling. His room, yes his very own room, was filled with mechanical objects, books, and brochures to muggle private schools. His mother loved to read to him and as he became more comfortable with being comforted and cared for Fyedka would curl in her arms and she would read to him for hours.

Perhaps it was because they stopped trying, or that Whitney was truly happy having a son in the house but she became pregnant when Fyedka was six, and the baby was born a few months after he turned seven. So Fyedka found himself the older brother of a little girl, they named Adeline, who he took to like a fish to water. Fyedka was every bit the doting older brother sometimes talking to the little baby in a loving voice with broken Russian and English sentiments.

When a mysterious letter came to his home his muggle parents found themselves shocked. At first they thought it was a joke by someone in the neighborhood, however after a couple more letters came to them, they decided that they would follow the instructions within and see what it was all about. Fyedka was completely absorbed by the thought of his new life, and couldn't stop talking about it. His father wasn't sure what to tell his friends or family when the question of his son's future schooling came up, but instead he side stepped it by saying he was to attend a private school abroad.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Loves to learn, and desires nothing but growth in knowledge. Though it's not always in the smartest way, Fyedka enjoys himself when he is pulling apart items his parents purchased or own. His attitude is mostly even and he is logical though not always wise which he hopes will change as his years progress. His inquisitive mind, and love for the written word make him a shoe-in for Ravenclaw where he will be around like minded individuals who will hopefully stimulate his emotional growth as well as educational future.

Fyedka woke in his bedroom hearing his little sister scrambling about in his room. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, “Oi, Addy what are you doing” the toddling four year old fumbled with one of his model planes. “No!” he moaned pulling off the cocoon blanketing that he had wrapped around himself. Addy saw him coming over and chuckled dropping the plane as it fell there was a rather loud crunch. “Not again!” Fyedka muttered out loud knowing Adeline had found herself back in her room playing with who knows what.

Swinging his lanky legs over the side of the bed he shimmied down the bedspread towards the edge. When his bare feet touched the cold floor he cringed. Moving slowly his tired body sweeping to pick up the plane and it's broken propeller. Fyedka's father had brought him to an air show not too long ago and purchased the latest model plane after one of the red and silver painted ones he had seen on the field.

Grumbling he brought the plane to his desk, with hands like a surgeon he assessed the damage looking for the glue and his other model building equipment. If his mother insisted on letting Adeline wander about the flat, he wished she would remember to keep her out of his room. Within little more than a half an hour he fixed the propeller and left it on the window sill to dry in place before going to the wash room in a hope to wash up.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Fyedka Lovelock is a generally good kid. Has a love for learning, reading, and writing. When he isn't doing that he generally enjoys the company of others, and gets in trouble for taking apart mechanical as well as other objects as a past time. To help him focus on creation rather then destroying, his father has been working on introducing models like airplanes and cars. Has a fascination with clocks, and enjoys taking them apart the most looking at the cogs and gears.
