This owl is not very bright, so if this package[1] reaches you late, I'm sorry. I hope you like it though. I noticed that Lord Fluffybutt was growing out of his clothes, so  I think this might help. They're supposed to stretch well, so even if he gains another half-stone, they should fit.

Dear Zel,

That is the best Christmas gift EVER! I feel like a right git because I didn't get you anything. But I didn't know you were getting me something and I don't know anything at all about what you like! I'd like to buy you something now, but I don't want you to think I only bought you something because you bought me something. But next time we go to Hogsmeade I will do something awesome for you as as a late Christmas present! It's the best I can do currently. Since I am staying at the Trishna's I can only go shopping when they go. Professor Trishna doesn't want me wandering about amongst the muggles. He is afraid I will offend one or break the secrecy laws.

Anyway. THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE IT. The bracelet is super pretty and Lord Fluffybutt really did need new clothes. How lovely of you to notice!

I cannot wait to get back to Hogwarts to see you and hang out again!


P.S. Does this mean you are my boyfriend now? Cause I think since you got me jewelry and chocolate it means that you are. That's what it's like in my books anyway. Just curious.

Are you having fun at the Trishna’s?  Have you learned anything about muggles? My brother lives like a muggle, you know. His girlfriend’s a muggle! They have a baby girl now who will probably be raised like a muggle too. I want to get them a present, but I don’t know what muggle babies like. Do you know what they like? I’d ask Figaro but I don’t think he knows anything about babies.

If you don't want me to buy you a present, I won't. But we should still hang out at Hogsmeade together. If nothing else I could get you a butter beer! I've had lots of extra pocket money lately and I don't know what to do with it!

Babies like toys! And bright colors and noise makers and stuff. It depends on how old the baby is more than anything. I wasn't raised as a muggle, so I don't know. But stuffed animals are always good and clothes and if you really can't think of anything then you get them a gift certificate somewhere! Apparently those are a thing. Unfortunately I don't know much about babies either, so I guess I'm not much help! I'm sorry!

And I understand you wanting to talk about that in person! I'm sorry if it was rude or awkward of me to ask you that. I was just curious. And sometimes I don't think much before I say stuff. But I guess you already knew that.
