Aisling nodded slightly in response to her husband. Some portions of the Ministry would be harsh, difficult, and cruel. One couldn't completely escape certain biases anywhere within their world, let alone there.
But that didn't make all parts of the Ministry equal in such matters. She took a sip of tea, enjoying the taste of it, the feel of the room, warmth from the fire, the scent of Tarron's pipe. "There are some areas within my Department that would be more amenable. The ones that deal heavily with the Muggle world."
The areas she was most involved with. Her gaze moved to Aileen, thoughtful, watching. "I could not promise that everyone would be kind. But she would be close to me, and the work itself attracts little controversy." She would do what she could in this. One could not be ruled entirely by others' distaste, in the end.
