Physical Description:
The perfect balance between her mother and father, Sophia seems, as often children do, to have captured everything good and grand about the pair. With long black hair and soft cream like skin she takes well after her mother, but it is in her perfect posture and well defined nearly always precise features that resemble her father the most. Sophia isn't as tall one would expect, but she is waiting patiently to catch up. Her attire is for the most part very modest, but it wouldn't be beyond her to play a little dress up in the privacy of her dorm. Sophia is very careful not to speak down to another student, but is very firm in her delivery and extremely direct. However, for the most part she is often very quiet, and realizes that the reality of her silence can often come across as rude.


Personality Description:

Sophia's nose might always be down in a book, but both feet are always flat on the ground. Often her parents would come looking for her when the topic grew so intense she would miss meals, but through a little evasive manipulation she would talk them into letting her bring the book to the table. Doing well in her studies, Sophia seems to be the model student and daughter. However, while her sister opts for a more direct approach in getting what she wants, Sophia simply does as she pleases by slipping under the radar, and in doing so is quite good at determining when to ask her parents for favors.

The second child by a separation of hours, Sophia was born early one morning during the Second Wizarding War. In the cool, crisp almost autumn night she came quietly, and to this day remains so. With her mother being a muggleborn witch, they did their best to go by unnoticed, and lived in a small apartment in London. However, in February of 1998 an incident, which neither sister remembers, had their mother pulled from their home and taken to Azkaban.
 
The end of the war came, but still remains the shadows. Aisling returned to her family, and they all moved into a new estate in London to start anew.

In years growing up, both girls were tutored in subjects well rounded, but it was their mother that insisted they also be educated in muggle subjects. In doing so, Sophia found a deep love and appreciation of English Poetry, and could often be found with her nose down in an old leather bound edition of Edgar Allan Poe. Like her sister, Sophia was always interested in the subjects her father went on about, and she very rarely lost interest. Perhaps it was those early years, the ones that should have been forgotten that kept her weary of not being prepared—especially when it came to the law. She didn’t question like her sister, she simply absorbed every bit of information offered, and stored it for safekeeping.
 
By the time that Hogwarts rolled around, Sophia was very excited indeed, but also reluctant to leave. A very practical child she hated the idea of leaving her parents, and carries their picture always. Often it’s used as a marker for a page, but finds refuge each night beneath her pillow.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:
Sophia isn’t the first to leap no, when it comes to those in-need, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t willing to help. Her tactics are more about the strategy of the task at hand, and how to best approach a challenge. Unlike her sister who charges (often recklessly) headfirst into any subject, Sophia is more likely to stand at the side taking notes and calculating what should have been the next move.
 
With her father’s steadfast hand being of Slytherin, and her mother a Ravenclaw, she would be very surprised if she were sorted in any other house. Though, she shares the wary opinion of House Slytherin, she certainly wouldn’t let that hinder her studies.

A very careful and cautious child, Sophia is very much the best of both of her parents. A good student with the ability to enjoy the life around her without disturbing her studies, she proves to be a great addition to her house. She is a caring, kind, friend to those she keeps close to her, but is far too practical to include very many in that circle.
