Physical Description:
Rayven has dirty blonde hair that is dreaded in the back but loose and free flowing in the front. She is 5' 3" and 130 pounds.Her build is average but a little on the slender side. She has fairly pale skin and brown eyes. Rayven has her ears pierced twice and a lebret piercing. Looking at her from a far, she looks like a typical student, except for her thick dreadlocks that set her apart. She has a bit of a spring in her step and is almost always seen with a smile. Her laugh is more like a giggle and she speaks with a melodic voice. When she isn't in school uniform, Rayven is typically seen wearing clothes that flow rather than ones that cling. She is not self conscious of her body, but feels more free in less restricting clothes that can flow with the natural way her body does. She comes off as extremely approachable and confident in her studies.

Personality Description:
Rayven has a surprisingly bright disposition despite her appearance. She is very earthy and feels more comfortable being outside in nature. She especially likes walking in the rain. It is refreshing to her because she looks at it as washing away everything and starting new. She helps people when she sees them in need and does all she can to make the situation better. She is very friendly and has never met a stranger. She is laid back and tends to go with the flow in most situations. Having a passion for the arts, she enjoys listening to music and painting and uses them as an escape from the tasks of every day life. She is open minded to most situations and likes to try new things all the time.
Rayven tends to be too trusting of people in most situations, often resulting in people taking advantage of her kindness and willingness to help in all situations. She is fairly naive and can be talked into most situations, he loyalty to her friends getting in the way of her intuition.

History:
Rayven could tell at an early age she was different from her older brother and sister. She would often have accidents of things bursting when she was angry or things levitating when she was happy. She noticed when things would happen and realized what triggered them, but was unaware of how to control them. Her mother was very supportive and eager to help her learn but her father was more skittish about it. In her quest to find out what she was, Rayven started doing her own "research", looking up things about magic and witches and such in muggle books, always wondering exactly what she was. She kept her research from her father so as not to upset him, but often went to her mother with questions. It wasn't until Rayven received her letter from Hogwarts that she was fully aware of what she was. Her mother was excited for her, but again her father was wary. Her mother and siblings helped her prepare for school and it wasn't until after her second year that her father finally accepted what she was.

In her early years at Hogwarts, Rayven was in awe of all around her. She often compared her life at school to what she had learned in the muggle books she use to read so often. Rayven showed an affinity for charms and was great with herbology. She helped her fellow students with their studies, often staying up to the early hours of the morning to help study. She got in a bit of trouble, letting her peers talk her into things, but she never ratted them out. She enjoyed talking to her teachers outside of the class and often did personal studies to learn more about what she was and how to be the best witch possible. She could often be found out in the open grounds reading her books or just enjoying the sun, wind, and fresh air.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:
Rayven was chosen for Hufflepuff house because she is hardworking but a bit air headed at times. She is very naturalistic and lighthearted and is helpful and loyal to her friends and anyone else around her.

Writing Sample:
Rayven was sitting outside, as usual, letting the wind blow through her hair and the sun shine on her face. She had just taken one of the hardest tests she had ever taken and needed a breather. As the sun warmed her skin, she smiled and felt as if she was reconnecting with herself and escaping from the pressures of school for a while. She opened her eyes again to see one of her friends coming up to her. She smiled as they approached and waved happily.

"Some test we had today, huh." She lightly laughed as her friend looked down in dismay.
"Don't worry." she reassured her friend. "Next time we'll stay up later and find a different way to study to make things easier. I'm sure you did fine."

Rayven hugged her friend and looked at the worry on her friends face.
"Come on. Let's go to Hogsmead and relax and not worry about the test for a while. It's just one test and you know what? If you didn't do well, that just means we have to try harder next time."

Rayven has helped numerous students with their studies and helped dispel arguments between friends. She is a strong leader and always puts the needs of others above her own. She makes good grades and is a generally good student. She has a good disciplinary record and respects authority.  She likes order and wants to make sure that her peers have the best experience at Hogwarts possible.

What Do You Think the Most Important Aspect of This Job Is:?
As a prefect, Rayven would be responsible for patrolling the corridors of the Hogwarts Express and the hallways of the school, making sure students were not out past curfew and behaving appropriately. She would also be responsible for showing first years around the school at the beginning of the year and for decorating for special occasions. She would also be expected to be an exemplary student and good role model for younger years

Tell a Story From Your Past That Has Proven Your Mettle: 
It was Rayven's fifth year at Hogwarts. She had shown her dedications to her studies to all of her teachers and excelled in most of her classes. She had made quite a few friends in her years and some of the younger students looked up to her because of how she treated them and helped them along the way.

While walking through the hall to her class, she noticed some students standing against the wall talking to each other. They seemed worried and confused so Rayven approached them. She had a kind smile on her face and was eager to help.

After speaking to the students, she learned they were new to the school and could not find their classes. Rayven smiled and offered to help the new students find their classes. She explained things about the school along the way and gave them hints about how to remember where the class rooms were and told them the easiest ways to get there. She walked with them to their classes making sure they got there alright. She then hurried her step a bit and made it to her own class just in time for it to start.
