Addison nodded to Gloria's attempt to place Slytheen in the pronunciation of Slytherin, as she started to carve out the basic silhouette of a Raven. "Green skin and fat heads," she repeated with a giggle, "I guess it depends on what you would call fat. Um, their heads are slightly big, I believe an oval shape. No green skin. Oh, but they could fit into their victim's skin..."

"Criminals that hunt," she clarified to Gloria with a short nod. "I have the basic shape almost carved out," she commented, trying to carve out the shape of the Raven's head.

"They wear their victim's skin? Gawulgh..." Gloria made a sound of revulsion and an involuntary swipe of her carving wand just as she was about to portion out one of the paws on her gryphon. The gouge cut over a third of her remaining snow from the right hand side. Gloria scrunched her lip under her upper teeth. That would be harder to replace and she had done so well blocking out the head and beak.

This was going to be a skinny gryphon. No fat green heads hiding under his hide.

"That's like what a lethifold is supposed to do. Or maybe a lethifold is a discarded cloak/skin that eats victims. So, do all muggle shows use the word alien for whenever they mistakenly reference a magical creature?"

Despite her best attempt, Addison couldn't help but to giggle at Gloria's reaction. "Sorry! I guess muggles have a strange taste to find that entertaining. There are plenty of strange things that muggles like," she noted with a nod. And the only reason for why she knew that was because she liked many of those things. It was hard to be an expert on something that you didn't like of course.

Using her wand, Addison began to carve a beak on the Raven. She shrugged at Gloria's comment about lethifolds. It was a while since she read up anything about those. "I don't recall seeing anything about lethifolds taking the appearance of their victims. But, it has been a while so I don't know. But, uh, I guess the shows do. I mean, the term alien seems to be used for a wide variety of creatures that they don't know."
