[Dec 16] Gathering in Secret [Divination Club] on December 08, 2012, 04:44:27 PM Eli understood that this meeting was breaking about a kajillion school rules, and if caught, he’d be removed from the presidential post. He was at his wits end though! The past few meetings of the divination club had been rather much a flop and Elijah wasn’t sure of any other way to make it fun. So, after a bit of contemplation, Eli decided to host an illegal co-ed sleepover. If caught, he’d simply explain that the students were just getting a more hands-on approach to dream interpretation, and that wouldn’t be a lie, but he still knew that an excuse like that wouldn’t fly with Professors Storm or McGonagall. Evelyn had decided most assuredly that she would not be attending, but Vlad was flapping around excitedly, happy to munch on a few crisps and twitter around the room. If he couldn’t have his twin, he could at least have his bat. Biting his lip, Elijah hoped that his sister wouldn’t owl their mum, but as the howler hadn’t arrived yet, he supposed he’d be safe. The Ravenclaw boy rolled his blue and bronze sleeping bag upon the floor and patted down his pajamas. He looked over to the snack bar, happy that the House elf population of Hogwarts didn’t disappoint. Chilled butterbeer sat in a large tub and various snacks and sweets were piled unceremoniously upon the table. He hoped a few members would show, and hoped equally as much that they’d keep their traps shut to the staff, the last thing they needed was for the new caretaker to bust in on them roaring like the deranged beast everyone thought him to be. As the door opened to the empty classroom, Eli’s heart jumped in his chest. Goodness, he’d be doing that all night probably. He realized that the Yule Ball was only days away and that exams were in full swing, but perhaps it was just as important for a few people to forget about their worries for just one night, eh? The steps in the staircases seemed dead set on giving him away at every footfall. As he maneuvered the corridors his wake seemed to echo in the cavernous halls. The occasional call from a portrait wasn't helping him much either. Warren cursed under his breath as his eyes scanned the way ahead of him. He wasn't sure but he thought he might of seen someone patrolling. He slipped from behind the suit of armor that he was crouched behind into the long length of shadow that scrolled the one side of the hall. He moved as silently as his burden would allow. He was starting to wish he had brought less, but he wanted to be prepared. The pack bounced against his back as he came to a stop and looked around a corner. The coast was clear, he had a straight shot to the room the Grimlish boy had said to meet at. He briefly thought about the fact that his Head of House had his office on the same floor. He did his best to shake away the thought and entered into the room."Grimlish," he grinned while walking into the usually deserted room, "I had to pass through a ridiculous gauntlet to get here you know. More than once an errant ghost and jabbering portrait almost gave away my movement."The Slytherin sixth year walked over to the table of snacks that he assumed the house elves had procured for them. He spotted a pile of bakestones and felt unable to control himself. He laid his bag on the ground near his feet, and then proceeded to stuff his face with the delicious sugar covered snack. He reached for a butterbeer and quickly washed it all down. After wiping his hands on a stray napkin, Warren went about unpacking his things. He pulled out a bedroll of his own, a few books on divination, scrolls, quills, ink, and a host of other divining accouterments that he wasn't so sure he wouldn't need. "So what is on the agenda for this evening Grimlish?" Warren posed as he looked back towards Eli, "Casting bones? Seance? Maybe reading entrails? Maybe you plan on us gazing into mirrors? I assume it has to be something juicy or you wouldn't want to do this at a time that might get us all hung by our thumbs. Unless you just wanted the excuse to get a bunch of girls to hang out in their pajamas." Nearly tripping over her own feet several times, breaking into a cold sweat at every corner in fear of being discovered, she finally made it after what felt like an hour's journey.Bursting into the empty classrom, she smiled in happy surprise at seeing Warren. She ran up to him and gave him a hug , shouting, "Warren! Nice to see you here!" Where she found the courage to do that was impossible to say; it was simply a spontaneous reaction from deep within her heart upon seeing her crush from dancing class. "Oh, and hi Elijah!" she said merrily, blushing slightly at her uncharacteristic enthusiasm and boldness. Taking her backpack of her back, she unfolded her sleeping bag and laid it on the floor beside Warren and Elijah's. "Wow, what a lovely feast!" she exclaimed upon seeing the variety of goodies on the table. Before rushing to stuff her face, she took a bottle of Butterbeer which she sipped on slowly, delighting in its sweet and fresh taste. "Are we expecting more people, Elijah? What do you have planned?" she asked, filled with excitement at this forbidden meeting. "I don't know if I've ever broken any rules before," she said softly, letting out a nervous giggle.Teagan was definitely not the type to do anything that wasn't allowed, so she wasn't entirely sure what had attracted her to come tonight. Perhaps a desire for adventure, in her rather ordinary and calm life. Regardless, looking at the load of food in front of her, happy to discover Warren was here, and not to mention the idea of a nighttime of divination fun, Teagan far from regretted her decision.
