(Dec. 20) So long, Farewell [open] on December 02, 2012, 08:37:12 PM Jack was at the station early and it was already crowded with students. Some were ecstatic to leave, others were crying. Some were even mad; must have done poorly on exams. Jack began to walk around saying goodbye to everyone and seeing some friends that would be with him the whole train ride. He was still getting used to the train so he was still nervous about it. As he turned around he saw another group of students approaching. Wow this place was packed. Jack began join the group. It was around 3 or 4 but with a mob of students behind them Jack knew this small circle will grow. Words could not describe how positively happy she was right now, and it was smack dab in the middle of two full moons, a time when Lexi was feeling her best. Her muscles weren't sore, her senses were normal, and none of her joints hurt. It was so wonderful, she thought she must be dreaming. She spotted Jack walking in their general direction and smiled, waving him over. "Jack! Hey, who are you sitting with?" In some odd way, Lexi had become friends with the quirky Hufflepuff. It was a wonder that she hadn't seen him before, seeing as they were neighbors, even if they lived a few blocks away. They were basically neighbors because Oulton Broad felt so tiny. It was Lexi calling him. "Jack! Hey, who are you sitting with?" Jack honestly could not answer that question. He began to wonder who was in Oulton Broad with him. Alice, Lexi, Emile, Annette, and he believed Dessa did too. He wasn't sure right now, It's been a long week. "Uhh I don't know yet...I think I ask Alice and Ted. Maybe hook them up." Jack started laughing at the last part. He knew Alice liked Ted Lupin. It was obvious. By now he close enough to actually talk to Lexi. "What about you?" I don't even know what I would do with myself, that would be beyond wonderful. If that happens, I'm taking pictures, and using them as blackmail. But you didn't hear that from me." She joked, shifting her bag on her back."I'm actually looking for Alice, I don't really know where she is, figured I'd sit with her... But who knows, I can't find her anywhere. Silly little Hufflepuff," she said, before her mind started working through what she'd said. "I mean, not that all Hufflepuff's are silly... actually, you're pretty silly. But in a reckless I-love-fireworks sort of a way. You know what I mean?" Skip to next post Re: (Dec. 20) So long, Farewell [open] Reply #4 on December 02, 2012, 09:35:32 PM "Blackmail huh! That's pretty sweet. And yes I know I'm weird but not as weird as some." Jack began wondering where acetone was or even what the older years were doing? Things seemed off. Ah well it is probably the weather. then he started thinking about every other first year. What would they be doing when they get home? Jack wanted to really talk to Paetyn. Even though the kid qwas a guy version of Alice, maybe he could get the kid to toughen up...that is with the help of Emile or Dessa. "Do you know where Paetyn is I need to talk to him?" After hearing gossip for the past hou from a group of girls he was finally caught and shooed off. He stopped listened to a couple. They were just talking about how they'll miss eachother. He passed two first years. They just wanted to find people to sit with. Remi walked another 100ft down the station until a large mob ran straight into him, typical. Remi basically cut the group in half, everyone quickly talking about something. He shrugged it off and continued walking. He want to reach for his wand in his pocket and couldn't find it. He checked his whole person for it but still couple find it. Oh no! He saw it rolling off onto the tracks. With panic settling in and his conscience gone he jumped down to the train tracks and then quickly jumped back up. He walked off casually as if no one saw him. It was most likely no one did. Lexi said, looking around for the other first-year. The crowd was insane, and there were so many people towering over the smaller first years... she spotted a few familiar faces, but none of them were fellow firsties. "I'm probably going to avoid spending time at home as much as possible," she said bluntly, "Probably going to end up annoying Alice for a while. Her older brother is coming home and he's bringing his girlfriend, Julie; and she's really nice, so I hope I can see her at some point." She smiled as they heard the tell tale sound of the train arriving, "Sounds like it's just about here." She said, mostly to herself but loud enough for Jack to hear. "You doing anything special for holiday?" She asked, looking back at him and wondering in the back of her mind just exactly where in the world her cousin was. She yelled jumping over to the Gryffindor's right. "Who's ready to go back to Oulton Broad Suffolk?! I know I am!" Anni yelled jumping up and down excitedly, she'd see her parents and her bedroom, and her brother, and Eliza, and Lance, and she couldn't wait for the Hunter's Christmas party. "Are you going to the Hunter's Party Jack?" Nette said, stopping her hopping. It was the best party of the year, every wizard in Oulton Broad would come, the Hunters, the Lotusorders, the McGees, Chloe Harris, whom Annette had been idolizing for the majority of the year, and the Hawkins, and the Grahams. Annette had had a crush on the oldest brother, Aiden, since she was little. 'It's going to be bloody brilliant!" A quick but unnoticeable jump came from him. Jack then saw Lexi and just started laughing at her reaction. Boy was he ready to get home, then he remembered Lexi's questions and comments. Why would she avoid her house, it was HOME; A place where you can feel safe and cozy where you have everything you ever needed. Jack just decided to discard his thoughts."I am definitely going to the Hunter's party. It'll be fun, although I think I would like to see my parents before I do anything else." Now his mind was racing, like always." Hey ya know what? If it snows over break we could have everyone have a MASSIVE snowball fight. Maybe during Christmas we could light off fireworks, or even have a bonfire." Jack began to ramble on, letting his mouth flap in the wind with the limitless possibilities. Even if it didn't seem it, Lexi had eyes on everyone around her; she was prepared, ready for anything. Especially a potential-scare from her friend. "Nette, you seriously have got to remember that you can't scare me that easily. You can't turn a predator into prey that easily," she joked, smiling and remembering Lucas and Joshua's last letter they sent to her, asking if she'd eaten any rabbits lately. "Me too," she said, agreeing with Jack. "Gotta see my Dad and my brothers before I do anything, I miss them like crazy and the constant stream of letters from them has been a bit unnerving. Actually, I was proud of them, their spelling has gotten a bit better, even if it's still atrocious. Can't blame the seven year olds," she rambled."And I'm so excited for the party, it's basically the best time of year!" She said excitedly, then sending a challenging look at Jack. "Oh, you are so on Windell. I am an epic snowball warrior, you better watch your step if you're thinking of starting a fight." She said with her typical cocky smirk.
