Physical Description: : Kael has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. Standing 6'4 he doesn't quite pose a scary image but he can be a bit intimidating, as he has a well built, medium build.

Dragon Taming has left him with his fair share of scars. On his left leg he has the scars of a bite, his back has a couple of scratch scars and his right arm has scars from his fingers to his shoulder, a small 9 inch section of his bicep missing some muscle.

Normally he can be found in jeans or leather pants with long sleeve polos. Over them he normally wears enchanted leather or other material jackets. He uses them both for work and to help hide the scars. As a habit of profession he goes around wearing steel-toed boots.


Personality Description: Kael is a strong minded, strong willed person. He isn't rude or aggressive in this nature but he will stand up for what he believes is right. Though he has come close with losing more than a limb in his line of work, he is optimistic about life. He is thankful for everyday that he makes it through intact.

He values hard work, honesty, trust, and strength. Strength he values isn't just physical but more the emotional or strength of will. He admires people who have had rough times and still manage to come out on top, he also admires those who put their mind to something and excel.

He is quite determined and when he finds something that he wants to study and learn about he can get a little obsessive until he knows as much as he can about whatever topic it was that tickled his fancy at the time.

Despite all of this he can be gentle and playful. He loves to mess with his friends and has a nack for flitring with women that he comes across.

History: Mothered by a witch and sired by a muggle, Kael is one of the many halfblood wizards running loose in the world. He was born in Salisbury, England in the ending of the spring months. His parents were delighted to have a child. They had been wanting and trying for a child for a long time before he was finally born.

His early years were spent growing up in a wizarding community, where most of his neighbors were wizards and witches, with a few muggles here and there, though they were mostly the family of the magical residents. He got to play with the other children both muggle and magical.

At an early age he discovered that one of his friend's father was a dragonologist. From then on it sparked a passion for the creatures in the boy that still hasn't diminished even today. He began to question his friend's father all about the dragons whenever he could.

At 11, after displaying his magical talent, he received his letter to Hogwarts. The next year saw him shipped off and packed to the school. He made fast friends, and even kept a few from his hometown who happened to be there as well.

By the time he had reached his fifth year, he had become the nerd who loved dragons as well as the playboy who flirted with all the girls. His sixth and seventh year were no different though his wild streak with the ladies had anything but diminished.

It wasn't until after he graduated that he finally calmed down a little bit. He left and found a dragonologist to follow and learn from. In this year he worked his way from watching, to working with hatchlings to the full grown dragons. He learned here that even juveniles could hurt as he acquired the bite scar on his left leg when he managed to anger a young Swedish Short-Snout.

Two years later, and on his own he learned that  when dragons are angry thier teeth aren't the only thing that they will use, as he ended up in St. Mungo's with four deep claw marks in his back.

Four years ago he came close to losing his arm. He was working with a Hungarian Horntail when it attacked, he luckily, though not sure even now how, to avoid the fire, but the teeth that came after he wasn't so lucky. The dragon had clamped down on his arm, shattering his wand and the bones from his fingers to shoulders, tearing muscle. It was subdued by the others he was working with before it would rip the limb off of Kael. He was quickly taken to St. Mungo's again; though this time he wasn't so quick to be released. For a while after he had difficulties moving and using his right arm.

Heading out of the country to work he found a wandmaker who crafted him an ivy wand with ashwinder ash core, since both were good elements for defensive spells, and after his accident he wasn't too keen on going in again without learning more about defense than he already knew.

A year after the accident he moved back to Salisbury building a house just outside, halfway between the city and the chalk plains, where he can train the dragons with room to spare.


Describe your job duties and how you go about them: After graduating from Hogwarts, Kael found a job working with a dragonologist, studying dragons. At first he was only allowed to watch from afar and learn how to handle the dragons.

A few months later he was able to work with the hatchlings and younger dragons. It was a full year before his teacher would let him work with the fully grown ones.

As he started with the grown ones, he was doing preliminary studies and handling, taking care of the feeding, cleaning, and other menial tasks.

Now that he has moved to working on his own he takes care of the feeding, cleaning, health, as well as any other tasks that are required to help him and the dragons live and learn comfortably.


Elaborate on your expertise in your field: Kael has been studying dragons since he was a child. They have been a fascination of his for a very long time. During his time at Hogwarts he spent much of his time, when not doing homework or with friends, reading up on dragons. During one of the tournaments when they used dragons, he managed to weasel his way into where they were being held to talk to the dragonologits who were taking care of them.

Since his graduation he started working with dragons, going round the world expanding his knowledge base as much as he could.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Kael is a strong man who has a gentle side as well. He is cautious in his work though can be a bit obsessive when he is learning something new. He loves working with dragons and loves the ladies. As a Hogwarts alumni he loves to go back and visit Hogsmeade and watch the Qudditch games when he has a chance.
