Re: Falling...up (Figaro) Reply #15 on December 11, 2012, 11:54:29 AM "You little shit!" Figaro tore off after Jack who'd swiped his wand right out of his hand! There was almost nothing so out-of-bounds than to touch another wizard's wand. You didn't touch it, you didn't borrow it, and you certainly didn't bloody run off with it! Figaro was experiencing real, actual anger here."You better drop it, you scabby little shit!" Figaro shouted as he tore down the stairs after the first year who was startlingly fast. Figaro chased him down three flights of stairs and then Jack turned off down a long straight corridor lined with suits of armor and portraits knights on horses.Jack and his boundless energy from the Rennervate had been enough to keep away from Figaro's reach on the stairs, but in the straight-away, the seventeen-year-old wizard had the advantage. He caught up to the firstie and snatched him by the collar.Fig, normally good-natured, was pissed as all get-out. Breathing hard from the chase, he held Jack roughly by the collar of his robes against a wall between two suits of armor and and pried his wand back out of the smaller boy's hands."What's your problem! Rotten little git!" Skip to next post Re: Falling...up (Figaro) Reply #16 on December 14, 2012, 04:41:59 PM Jack ran up, down, left, and right. He was completely lost in pure hyperactive, bliss. He was turning the corner only to feel Figaro snatch him by the collar, very tightly, and glaring at him. Jack couldn't feel his body, he was being choked. It was silent except hearing the gasping for air. Figaro broke the silence," What's your problem! Rotten little git!" Jack felt Figaro's wand leave his hand and the grip on his collar tighten. Jack began seeing stars, and could only mutter "C..C...Can't...breathe." The rennervate spell was wearing off now, and panic began to settle in. Jack was sure that he would pass out, not die but pass out. His faced was turning blue as Jack began to see darkness. He pocketed his wand, stepped back a little, and crossed his arms over his chest."You're fine," he said a little gruffly, but not as angry as before. The last thing he needed was Jack telling on him to their Head of House. "You don't touch another person's wand though, alright?" Figaro said sternly. "It's well out of line. Get you into really big trouble."Figaro had never meant to actually hurt Jack, and so was feeling a bit ashamed of himself. He'd sort of lost his temper. The kid probably didn't know any better and well - Figaro had cast a spell on him and caused him to go a bit barmy. "Are you okay?" But both wanted to move on from it.Figaro cracked a smile at Jack's innocent request to move on. "Of course we can. But first, maybe you can do me a favor."Grinning, Figaro made the question sound like the beginning of the game rather than the beginning of a chore. He had been trying in vain to procure something. A replacement for something he'd broken a few months ago, but he hadn't quite had means to get it. Of coarse Jack knew, he stared at Figaro with that are you crazy face. Then his brain caught up to him, maybe it was something else. It's this muggle thing that like you put food in it and press a button and it mixes it all up. Got one of those cords that plugs into the wall," Figaro explained."I busted Dria's[1] weeks ago and promised I'd get a new one, but hell if I know where to get one. You're not muggleborn? Damn."For some reason, Figaro often assumed the more accident-prone firsties like Jack here must be from a muggle house to get into so much trouble. 1. "I can bring one from home after Christmas break if you need one? But WHY would you break a blender." All Jack could think about was about how people could break blenders. In goes some food, out comes some liquified version of it. Jack knew his family was big on having magic and muggle things in the house but do most wizards not know how to use muggle objects? Oh wait, we have a class just for that. Jack really feels the urge to slap someone right now. Skip to next post Re: Falling...up (Figaro) Reply #23 on December 24, 2012, 10:27:36 PM "You do?
