Physical Description: Sophie takes care of her appearance, because she thinks that being well-favored is very important. She is tall, around 5’56”, long, brown hair, brown eyes, white skin.
Her hair is her favorite feature in herself, she always wears it differently, and adores trying out new hairstyles, and braids. Her hair, as mentioned before, is brown, and it has a natural shine.
Sophie has very few freckles, almost unnoticeable. Her face is round, and she has little lips, and her eyes are little. She dislikes that feature about herself, because she always wanted big, dreamy eyes. When she is smiling ,she has dimples.
She has a soft voice, and a cute laugh, one that makes other people smile. She does not see herself beautiful, she never did, but that is pretty normal, when we are talking about a teenager.
Sophie really enjoys fashion, though most of the time she has to wear her uniform, and that doesn’t bother her at all. The young witch always said that red and gold are worthy to be worn.
Personality Description: She's kind and friendly with people who treat her well. She adores music, playing the guitar, and playing Quidditch. Another good quality is, that she is always smiling, and trying to keep people around her happy. She's a maximalist, and pretty sympathetic.
She is pretty inpatient though, hates waiting. With people who are evil to her she is most likely being evil too. Her cute eyes and appearance can be deceptive, she really can be a scheming, evil monster, but only when people hurt her, her family or friends. Sophie is stubborn, and can be pretty hysteric sometimes, when something turns out not quite the way she wants it.
Once she tried to have the “What is going to be your job?” talk with her parents, but they just couldn’t agree on anything. Her parents wanted her to continue her family business, or work for the ministry but her ideas and goals are different. Sophie is very interested in Quidditch, and teaching. She always wanted to be a teacher, and she wanted to teach Potions, one of her favorite classes. As for Quidditch, she always enjoyed playing it, but never really had the courage to try out for the team in her previous years at Hogwarts, but her very secret dream and future plan is to become a professional Quidditch player ( The Holyhead Harpies is her favorite team).
History: The young witch's family is not a well known one, they've been living their lives quietly. Her father is a wizard, and her mother is a muggle. The Villiers is her father's, Damien's, last name, his grandparents, Marvin and Ingrede, moved to England, from the Netherlands. They worked there for years, but after their business failed, they decided to move to England, and look for greater challenges. Due to their curiosity, and pretty much, their weirdness, they decided to try something REALLY new, they decided to open a shop in the muggle world. They opened a candy shop, and it's still working with success, and it is runned by Sophie's mother, who's a muggle. Most of the witches and wizards in their family have been sorted into the house of the Lion, so it was no surprise at all, that Sophie was sorted there too.
As for her mother, Loraine Villiers( born Green), she grew up in a poor family, near Bristol. Her parents were agronomists, but their business wasn't so successful as the Green family's for centuries. They moved to Bristol, when Loraine turned eleven. Loraine met Damien at a weird summer party, when they both were 23. After that night, they knew they were made for each other.
Damien is now working for the Ministry of Magic, and Loraine is running the candy shop, mentioned before.
As for Sophie, at the year of eleven she was checking the mail box every five seconds in the summer, waiting for the letter from Hogwarts. She was really excited and could barely think of anything else. Her father was a wizard, so she knew everything about the Wizarding world, and by everything I mean everything that and eleven years old girl should know. When she finally got the letter, she was jumping around and screaming like an idiot. Her parents just shook their heads in disbelief, and took her to the Diagon Alley within 3 days, because she just couldn’t stop whining and complaining. Her first three years at Hogwarts were amazing, she was a particulary good student, always with her homework done, and always the first whose hand swung up into the air. In case she didn’t like a teacher or a class, she was lazy and not caring, but usually she tried her best to fill in the expectations. Her Fourth and Fifth years at Hogwarts were very good, and as she claimed, pretty tiring. Slowly she started to understand what a heartbreak feels like, and what falling in love means. Her friends often called her a weirdo because she considered some of the guys from Slytherin, cute.
Her favorite places in Hogwarts were the Astronomy tower and the Lake. When she had a hard day, or needed some space and silence she went to the Lake. Most of the students didn’t really fancy the place so she could be alone there. She liked the Astronomy tower, because she always enjoyed watching the night sky, and even at home, with her parents, sometimes they laid down on the ground in the backyard, watching the stars. It always made her feel calm, and safe.
Classes:
Astronomy
Charms
Defense Against the Dark Arts
Herbology
History of Magic
Potions
Transfiguration
Care of Magical Creatures
How Do You Fit Into Your House?: For her bravery and loyalty. When she was sorted, she got pretty surprised, even though everyone in her family had been sorted into Gryffindor. Sophie had always been brave, and she always stands up for others. She hadn't always been that way,in the First and Second years, she was pretty shy,and could barely say a world aloud. Although she wasn't really brave in the first two years, she was loyal, and sticked with the people who were good to her.
Writing Sample: The first class in her sixth year. Sophie rushed through the corridors with excitement, waving to some fellow lions, and greeting the newbies. She entered the class, feeling happy that she saw all those familiar faces again. She soon spotted her friend, Steph, who was sitting alone in a desk. Sophie was very happy to see her. She sat down next to her,and hugged her tight.
"Steph!!" she said, and hugged her tightly. Even though they spent the whole summer together, she already missed her like crazy. She let her go,and took out her books, parchment, quill and ink. Sophie sighed, and took a deep breath. It may sound weird, but it was the typical smell of Hogwarts. That classroom, was one of her favorites, there were three huge windows, the sun was shining through them, and it made the whole place look really...like home. The brick walls, all those crawly and slippy things in glass bottles,it was disgusting, but Sophie never felt better. Some of the Slytherin students came in, she didn't hate them, but did not particularly like them either. She let out a small sound, that weirdly sounded like an "oink" and rolled her eyes.
"I guess it's gonna be an interesting year." she said quietly to her friend, checking out the Slytherin guys.
"Gosh,what am I doing?" she thought,and looked away,blushing.
Sum up your character in one paragraph: Sophie,is an ambitious, brave and smart girl, who is always happy to help others, but likes to catch others attention too. Sometimes, she can act pretty cruel, when she has a bad day, but usually she is trying to smile even in the worse situations. Most of the people do not pay attention to her,but that does not bother her much, she has her own little circle of friends, and she is proud to be who she is. She spends most of the time with her friends, but enjoys writing stories and poems, and only a few people now about that. Sophie is always trying to act like a brave, and strong person, but that's only because she does not want others to see her being week.
All in all,Sophie Villiers is a great and loyal friend, even if sometimes she can act pretty weird.
