Full Character Name: Teagan Bell
Character Birthday & Age: January 12, 1993; 16
City & Country of Birth: Ireland
Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn: Halfblood
House & Year: Hufflepuff, 6th
Wand: nymph hair, 11.5, rosewood. Teagan bought her wand with her step father in a wand shop in her hometown.
Physical Description: Teagan has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She is slim and tiny, measuring 5 feet. Her hair is wavy and thick, often put up in a ponytail. She often wears plain dresses and black leather shoes with a buckle and a small heel.
Personality Description: Teagan is a very quiet girl who loves to read and learn. Although she is friendly and kind-hearted, she doesn't let people get too close to her. She has a warm smile although her eyes sometimes hint at the sadness inside. Teagan tends to hide her emotions from people and sometimes might seem enigmatic to others.
Teagan doesn't make friends too easily because besides being quiet, she often appears aloof and off in her own world. She often spends time alone even though a part of her craves for company and a deeper connection with others. When she does make friends, she is a generous and caring friend, with a light-hearted and playful personality.
History: Teagan has two step sisters of whom she is very fond. Her mother suffers from an uncontrolled, debilitating depression that often forces Teagan to replace her role as mother. Teagan learned at an early age to deal with her mother's "episodes", learning to cook, clean, and take care of her sisters while her mother recovers. Her step father is a butcher with an upbeat personality and a loving dad to his two girls. Despite never really treating Teagan the same way, he has always been good to her as well. He drinks heavily and once in a while erupts in loud episodes of anger that frightens the girls - but he never becomes violent. In this setting, Teagan has grown up in Ireland, attending Hogwarts since she was 11. Every year, she worries greatly about her family and how they will manage without her around.
At Hogwarts, Teagan is a slightly above average student. She isn't very competitive or ambitious academically, but she does love learning: Her degree of effort in class depends on how much interest she has in a particular subject. Teagan loves plants and as such excels most in Herbology. Due to her love of nature and animals, she also greatly enjoys Care of Magical Creatures and Astronomy. Her worst classes are Potions and Flying: She has always had difficulty successfully brewing potions and her fear of heights and lack of coordination makes flying a challenge for her. Teagan's lack of a competitive character also means she has little interest for joining the TetraWizard tournament. Despite this, she looks forward to meeting new people from around the world, as she is very interested in other countries and cultures.
Because of Teagan's more solitary character, she has never been part of any Hogwarts clubs. She is not very sportive either and never tried out for the Quidditch team. (She does love watching Quidditch games though.) Teagan is an avid reader and loves to write; when she is not with her friends, in class, or studying, she can be found alone with her head in a book or quietly writing away. She loves the Hogwarts library and can often be found there. Since her first year at Hogwarts, she had developed the habit of writing letters home to her mother as well as letters to each of her sisters.
At first, Teagan had no idea what she wanted to be when she grew up. She only knew that she wanted to travel the world and learn as much as possible about the magical world and magic. However, with each passing year, her love for Hogwarts grows. The castle is where she feels happiest and most at home. As such, Teagan now wishes to become a Hogwarts Professor after she graduates, teaching most likely in Herbology or Care of Magical Creatures.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Teagan was chosen for Hufflelpuff because of her friendly and hard-working nature. Teagan is very friendly and kind, even if she sometimes seems distant and lost in the clouds. She is also very hard-working: She has always helped her mother with her chores and motherly duties and is always ready to help others out when they need her.
Writing Sample: Teagan arrived at her first Hogwarts class of the year, feeling happy to see the crowd of familiar faces once more. She walked in quietly, smiling as she noted the palpable excitement of the students, all retelling their summer breaks to each other.
She chose a desk near her best friend Melody, waving at her enthusiastically. "Hey! I missed you!" she exclaimed, then hugged her tight. Teagan hadn't seen her all summer, busy at home with her two sisters. Even though they wrote each other, Teagan missed spending everyday with her at Hogwarts.
"Can you believe we're already in our sixth year?" Teagan asked, her eyes wide. She ducked as a paper airplane almost crashed into her bushy dark brown hair. She glanced at her friend then giggled, saying jokingly: "We don't act like it, do we?"
She picked up the airplane and threw it back in the direction in came, smiling in amusement. Teagan then took out her parchment, quill, and ink, placing them carefully and neatly on her desk.
She was really glad to be back, even more so then she expected. Hogwarts had become like a home to her, maybe even more so then her own home in Ireland. She thought briefly of the years she had passed at the castle, the warm memories and fun times, and she couldn't contain the smile on her face knowing another year was ahead of her.
Sum up your character in one paragraph: Teagan is a quiet girl, who tends to keep her emotions bottled inside. She is very friendly and kind, although she sometimes comes off as distant and serious. Despite the impression she gives, she can surprise others with her playful and light-hearted character.
Because of her family situation, there is sometimes a hint of sadness betrayed in her eyes, though rare are those who notice it. Most people don't notice her at all; especially since she often spends time alone reading or lost in daydreams and other thoughts. Teagan is a caring, thoughtful, and empathetic person: a good friend to have around. That being said, her own emotional problems often prevent her from truly opening up to others.
