Wand: 11.5in, Mermaid Hair Core. The shaft is an unusual one; clear bluish crystal, an experimental McDounough. The core hair can be seen through the crystal. The wand counts as ornamented, and the grip is painted oak.

Physical Description: Aside from her attitude, one of the most noticeable inherent feature of Georgiana's appearance is her brilliant cyan-blue eyes, a feature shared with her brother Tapendra. Her tendency to use heavy eye paint (often in ways that emphasize her family's roots in ancient Egypt), tends to make them even more prominent against her light brown skin.

Her hair, when worn in a more mundane fashion, is black, thick, and quite long. Her bangs are cut straight across her forehead, and the rest of her hair falls to her waist. When she can get away with it (in other words, while not at school), or really wishes to irritate her brother, Georgiana tends to do her hair in more of a cybergoth-inspired style. This usually involves brightly colored hair extensions either in Slytherin colors, or in a cyan shade similar to that of her eyes, though occasionally she'll dye portions of her own hair as well.

Much to her disappointment, Georgiana's build has never developed past that a bony, flat-chested young woman with just a little weight around her hips. Her height of 5'5" has, as she's grown older without growing taller, given her a bit of a fondness for chunky boots that add on a couple inches.

In terms of clothing, she tends towards ecclectic. A few pieces from whatever style has caught her eye. Corsets, petticoats, shiny black jackets, various things consistenting of black fabric and colored lace. For more mundane wear, or just for when she doesn't want to put too much effort into it, she goes for jeans, t-shirts (particularly ones with phrases on them chosen specifically to confuse/irk others), along with zip up hoodies if needed.

Personality Description: Loud. All of her actions and appearance tend to be geared towards prompting a reaction from someone. Georgiana wants to be noticed. To be the one everyone stares at when she walks into a room. Negative attention is better than none, and there's a bit of fun in being the one others love to hate. Especially if they are, as she often view her classmates, dweebs or posers who haven't figured reality out enough to be cynical about it. Acnd well, if they can't figure out the Muggle snark she uses to insult them, then that just gets rolled back up into her assumptions about that. She's better than them, after all. And has better things to do than applying her intellect to just pleasing some stuffy old teacher. If the subject was really that good, they'd be able to catch her interest with it. Until then, she has art and poetry to occupy herself with. A bit of loudness and angst there can earn positive attention there.

But of course it's not that simple. Georgiana has been drowning in issues of parental abandonment since her birth, something which tends to make her jealous of the attention others get and all too willing to be even louder to get it back to her. Tapendra's role as surrogate father figure and family dork may be the most stability she's ever known, but the death of his wife and the birth of his daughter, Cyhirae, added plenty of complicated issues to an already volatile mixture. And it's not hard for Georgiana to feel like an imposition. Teenaged boys aren't supposed to raise their younger sisters, and now that Cy has started school it's especially easy for Gigi to slide into jealousy over her  smart, pretty little niece who seems to be much more of the daughter Taprendra wanted, even though she does care for her.

Insult her family, and she'll shift to defensiveness. Messy as their situation might be, Taprenda's been there for her and she's not forgetting that. Or abandoning family like her parents did with her.

Overall, Georgiana's a teenaged girl with a cynical side who's hoping for a level of attention she knows she'll never get and can be a bit dismissive of those she views as naive.This, and the common issues of someone her age, with a bit of the proverbial wanting to be treated like an adult (something bolstered in arguments by the early responsibilities her brother took on), mean she's prone to acting out in various ways that might make her feel more mature or give her the attention she so craves.

History: Instability is the guiding word for Georgiana's early life. Her mother Atalana abandoned her to the dangerous care of her father, Vedir Predeaux, shortly after Georgiana's birth. This precarious situation led her half-brother, Tapendra, to take drastic measures towards Vedir in order to ensure the child's safety. Georgiana is just starting to learn more about the threat her father poses to her. This situation ended with Tapendra leaving his sister with his friends, the Whites, until he graduated a few months later.

Until Tapendra's marriage to Judy Greenburg in 1995, Georgiana was raised by her brother and his friend, Luthas Blair, in a small apartment. After the marriage, and the birth of their daughter Cyhirae, there was a period of stability, so far the longest one in Georgiana's life. Even if it was somewhat tempered by her jealousy over having to share parental attention with her young niece.

But Judy's surprising death in 2002 disrupted this stability, and sent Tapendra into depression as well. He was recovering by the time that Georgiana started school in 2004, and sent his fat old cat, Ludicrous, to Hogwarts with his sister.

Hogwarts for her has overall been a positive experience, though she misses some of the conveniences of her brother's home. And school has inflamed her attention-seeking behavior a bit further, though she's smart enough to not push matters with her teachers too far. And her grades, though by no means poor, indicate a young woman easily described by the lament of "if only she applied herself".

Tapendra taking up the position as Hogwart's Professor of Astronomy added several complications to Gigi's school life, and she's been quite adamant about not taking her "dweeb brother's" classes. And having him about the school provides numerous opportunities to bother him as well.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: She's an ambitious young pureblood who wants to be the center of attention and is willing to step on quite a few toes to get there. And well, anyone who disagrees with her methods is, in her opinion, too naive for their own good. She particularly enjoys getting a rise out of people, and hasn't really discovered the art of subtlety so far.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Georgiana is a loud, ambitious young woman who hasn't quite figured out what she wants, besides knowing that she wants to be the center of attention when she gets there; something exacerbated by the instability of her early life. She tends to be a bit isolated among her classmates, but then she doesn't tend to think too much of most  of them either.

Georgiana's mother was a metamorph, and the ability was known to be carried within her family line.

With most of her upbringing occurring in more Muggle settings, Georgiana has spent most of her effort focused on ensuring that it doesn't show up reflexively. She's practiced it, certainly, in bits and pieces over the last decade. The explorations of a girl seeing what sort of cool patterns she can make with her hair or if she can add just a bit of a bust.  But she's much better at keeping it from showing up than actually using it.

Describe how the Special Ability influences their life.  What do they use it for?:
Georgiana largely uses it for cosmetic purposes, the sort she can explain away with muggle or magical cause. A shift of eye color, coming out from her room with hair suddenly in stripes of black and Slytherin green. The occasional caricature of someone's features while at home.

If opportunities to make herself look cool were the extent of the impact of her metamorph abilities, she'd be much more amenable to them. But it's also something related to family she doesn't wish to acknowledge, to a bunch of dead blokes in Egypt and to her mother. The mother who abandoned her as an infant, and who is certainly locked away in Azkaban. The mother she wishes to be absolutely nothing like.

And yet Georgiana knows that there are so many interesting, self-expressive things she can do with such an ability. She just isn't very comfortable with exploring them outside of very private settings. Or at least so far.

Write a description of what happens when your character is exhibiting this Special Ability: Usually, it's just cosmetic. Eyes and hair suddenly changing color, the occasional pattern that looks like a temporary tattoo.

At times, she'll stretch her features slightly, usually in mockery of someone or something. Nose lengthened just a bit, cheeks shifting rounder, eyes wider. She's tried once or twice to make herself taller, but the rather distended results proved that it will be a while before she has any chance of achieving such.

The ability, being magical, doesn't play well with Muggle technology. Fortunately, it only wreaks havoc on items in very close proximity. Digital watches, headsets, cellphones in pockets, that sort of thing.

What Experience has Prepared You For This Honor?:
Georgiana may not be the best student in Hogwarts, but her grades so far are shaping up to be a quite respectable mix tending towards O's and E's. Not that it prevents the occasional bemoaning of what she could do if she truly applied herself (the perils of Ravenclaw family), but she's hardly struggling. That snarky, rebellious routine doesn't actually keep her from doing her schoolwork.

It's also a routine that is, as evidenced from her recent disciplinary records (aka the lack thereof), that she knows not to push too far.  Being a Slytherin who was raised pretty Muggle means she'll probably never lose that prickly edge as a defensive technique, but she's smart enough to avoid real troublemaking.

Beyond those, it's her ability to stand up to others of her House that would really net her the role. Gigi's spent her time in school with ambitious, strong-willed housemates possessing a certain disregard for the rules. And with her background and tendency to isolate herself a bit, she's had to do quite a bit of standing up or being trampled. The sarcasm and snark tend to be put to great use there, deflecting comments back at their original owners. A bit of manipulation, and her own not-quite lawful nature, give her a bit of a flexible approach in dealing with issues from other students. Such also means that she's not going to pick at every tiny infraction in terms of enforcing rules,  hitting instead on the major issues.

She's also got a protective streak, one that's largely been reserved for her family but yet still pops up occasionally. The sort that could easily be extended to new, unsettled first years once she's tasked with herding them about.
In short, she's a good example of a Slytherin, not just because of good grades and the smarts to not get in trouble, but also because of a certain devious effectiveness most easily encompassed in her motto of "bitches get things done.".

What Do You Think the Most Important Aspect of This Job Is:?
With a lot of strong personalities in her house, being able to take pressure from the other members and not let it sway her. As covered above, she's got quite a bit of experience at such a task, with it being rather par for the course with her schooling.

Coming in closely behind that will be being able to work with the various other Prefects and Head Boy/Head Girl. While this might be a bit of an adjustment, there's not so much house pride in Georgiana to make it working with others too problematic. She even seems to be developing a bit of a rapport with Raine Almasy, one of the Gryffindor Prefects.

Tell a Story From Your Past That Has Proven Your Mettle: 
Much to Gigi's disappointment, stories about herding cats raiders through complex rituals to receive pretty purple pixels aren't applicable.

Anyways, a surprise guest causes a bit of a mess at Raine's birthday party. Gigi, rather than jumping to conclusions, or fussing the target and getting herself in the way of those others swarming to attend to him, checked up on Raine instead. She then, careful to not jump into things too much, spoke in a fashion supportive of Raine while still endeavoring to ensure that Roger was not removed until he was in a condition to do so.

"You want him patched up and thrown out, then?"

Beyond that, she also used her sarcasm powers both to chastise Theo Whitman's encouragement of the attack, critique what she views as some of Raine's more reckless tendencies, and to attempt to defuse the situation, while still being ready to step in in a more physical fashion should things turn ugly again.
