"No," he said, simply but with a note of finality. Tyr had no intention of talking to Abby on these points. Why would he, after all? He didn't even really talk to himself about them, after all. If she decided to agree, it'd be on her own and without him having influenced the outcome...he hoped. This conversation with Sasha wasn't helping, he suspected.

Either was, he didn't want his father holding him accountable for this - Tyr feared little, but his father's wrath was one thing he did fear.

Tyr turned and looked fully at Sasha. That was by far and large the nicest way anyone had ever threatened him. Usually, they didn't bother with subtlety or even reasons; it was a fist to the face or a simple 'You're gonna get it, Brunn' and that was that.

Still...he wasn't exactly feeling threatened, and he looked Sasha up and down. Should it come to that, the man would be easy enough to be rid of. Shy, quiet people tended not to be up to brush on their wand skills.

"I see," he said. "As you wish, Master Schlagenweit."

With that final 'no,' any lingering sympathy faded.  Sasha could fully understand the young man's predicament but it was clear he was putting his own interests before Abby's.

"She has a right to know," Sasha said, quietly.  Abby, after all, was facing a decision that would last sixty...eighty years.  To make that kind of decision, based on lies or a constructed pretense was cruel.

Brunn made no attempt to hid his sizing Sasha up and Sasha had to tense his muscles in a concerted effort to avoid shifting or fidgeting awkwardly.  Whatever the other fellow concluded, shuffling wasn't going to help his case.  He pointedly ignored the shift in manner of address and simply dipped his head in a curt nod.

"Thank you for your time."  Turning, Sasha started towards the greenhouse door.  He knew turning back, again, would be absurd, by now.  He tugged his robes tightly around him and slipped into the darkness.
