[Nov. 10] Hufflepuff Boy Meets Gryffindor Girl (Jack) on September 24, 2012, 08:35:57 PM Lexi took the stairs three at a time as she bounded from the seventh floor down to the fifth floor. Her fiery hair was pulled back into a neat bun and her robes flapped out behind her. She hit the bottom of the stairs and righted herself, changing her pace to a walk. For some reason, she had a lot of energy. So much that she felt like she could run a marathon, twice. It could be from all the chocolate covered bacon she just devoured, but hey, cravings happen. Especially when you're an adolescent werewolf. Then cravings are an everyday thing, but not to be taken lightly. By no means should a were ever take cravings lightly. The day had been torturous, one class to the next, and finally they were nearing the end of the day. Lexi had time to kill before the next class, and she was killing that time by wandering aimlessly on the fifth floor. She felt like she was forgetting something that she needed to do, but also felt at the same time that she needed to be here. She walked down the hallway, once, twice, three times. Then stopped to look out one of the windows, noticing that the weather wasn't half bad today. She rolled her shoulders around absentmindedly, feeling the tightness in her muscles. And then she felt aware of everything. The scars she'd gotten from the last full moon resulted in her tugging her sleeves down, the fact that she was running on an energy boost from gorging on food made her feel self-conscious, but then she heard someone approach from behind her and it was all she could do to stop from jumping as she spun around to face whoever it was that decided to walk up. He didn't use the word hate lightly because hating someone means you don't care about them. He felt as though Lucy just needed to open up, then maybe she wouldn't be so mean. Jack wasn't sure why he was up on the fifth floor. Maybe because not too many people create traffic. He just didn't want to be seen in such bad shape. He began to clean up some of his wounds. The vomit he tried to clean off of him took about 20 min. He got rid of the stench but a few stains were still left. He decided to start to walk back to the common room when a girl ran into him. All Jack saw was the Gryffindor robe Nd girl hair before he was knocked into the wall. "No not again" he thought. He began to get nervous, assuming it was Lucy, and stood up with his wand pointed at the girl. Once he saw the fire red hair did he let his guard down. "Uhh...hi" he said." I'm a wreck right now" Skip to next post Re: [Nov. 10] Hufflepuff Boy Meets Gryffindor Girl (Jack) Reply #2 on September 24, 2012, 08:55:59 PM "Sorry!" Lexi said apologetically, "I didn't mean to bump into you, I'm just a bit disorganized right now." She said quickly, feeling her energy high from the past few hours slowly start to decline little by little."And no offense, but you look sort of awful. What happened?" She asked, wondering why Jack looked so shaken up and why he had practically whipped his wand out the moment she ran into him. Geez, everyone must just be on edge today. It was just that sort of day. It was supposed to be a Terrific Tuesday, but it sure didn't look like it was going to go that way. "Did you fight with someone or fall down a flight of stairs? Because I've done that before. The fighting and the falling." "Like I said before I'm a wreck right now." jack really needed to get back to the Common Room but he wasn't rude. He didn't want to leave Lexi unanswered" You know the girl Lucy...she well umm..." The throbbing came back and Jack had to sit down. He couldn't talk right now, he needed rest. " If you have time to sit I'll tell you the whole story" Hoping that he could get up after this talk he motioned the girl to come and sit down. She said, not intending it to come across harshly. But honestly, that's just how those words came out. You can't tell someone they look bad without sounding bad, it just doesn't work like that.Hesitantly, she sat next to him, wondering if it really was that long of a story that he needed her to sit and wait and listen. "If this is about Lucy, we all know she's bloody awful. She doesn't take well to anybody, 'specially the Puffles. It's like she senses weakness or something and then goes in for the kill." Lexi added, then silencing herself as she awaited the story. Jack began to relive the event in his mind, not really shivering it just felt cold remembering what she said. "I honestly had no idea who it was until i offered her some candy." Jack began to snicker,"She had the bronze in that fight but i had the brains. She was hurling up slugs and dinner before she finished me." Then he remembered the head lock. Jack froze. "You are useless. No one likes you. That other little hufflepuff first year? Alice? She hates you. Everyone hates you. You are just an idiot looking for a friend." Jack couldn't stop mumbling it to himself. "I need to get some fresh air. Wanna meet up by the greenhouse say in 20 minutes?" Jack didn't wanna talk about the fight anymore. It was too fresh in his mind to cope with. He needed to change clothes and needed a minute in his dorm. She knew how easy it was for someone to be affected by Lucy's harsh words and dark actions. The girl didn't know when to stop, and she brought down everyone around her. Realizing that Jack was needing space, she stood up, nodding at his request. "Sure, see you then. And just make sure to avoid Lucy until then." She said, offering Jack a smile before heading back towards her dorm to change into warm clothes and then to head outside.*Twenty Minutes Later*The red haired girl was sitting by one of the greenhouses, her robes had dissapeared in favor of blue jeans and a dark green sweater. She had one of her notebooks propped up in her lap, scribbling down ideas for her next essay. Basically just organizing her thoughts until Jack arrived.
