She certainly felt the same, especially with the male population of her year. It was probably different for her, than it was for Alice though. She couldn't help but to let out a short giggle at Alice thinking that she was hurting her reputation. "Honestly, I hurt my own reputation. I'd very much would rather help you, despite what happens to my reputation. This may sound odd, but you kind of remind me how I was as a first year. I remember wishing that I had help, myself. So, it's kind of like I want to help you the way that I wish that I was helped. Does that make any sense?" she asked, feeling as if her thoughts were incoherent. Addison nodded and shrugged to Alice's question. "I have and still do. Now, it is mostly insecure instead of insignificant, since I have mostly accepted what makes me insignificant. At any rate, don't let feeling insignificant define who you are. I'm sure that you have plenty of unique qualities," she gave Alice a smile. She made a mental note to find Alice one day after her glasses were fixed, so the girl could see her clearly. Even though she never had glasses, Alice reminded her of herself as a first year. Just so innocent. Skip to next post Re: (Nov. 16th) I can totally walk down stairs by myself. Alice looked back at the blob that was Addison. "It does make sense. I fully understand. Like, you want to help me now, so that I never feel as insignificant as you did." Alice's eyes shot open. "Not that you seem insignificant! You're just, uh, well, kind, and like me. Kind of." Alice shook her head. "I'm fumbling over my words." The two girls arrived at the right floor, and Alice looked up at Addison. "Thank you, again. I should be able to find my way from here." She smiled. "Addison, even if this means nothing to you, even if this doesn't make you feel any different, but thank you. You are really really nice, and you've restored some faith in older students for me. You really are amazing." Skip to next post Re: (Nov. 16th) I can totally walk down stairs by myself. Trust me, I still have those feeling now, just not as often as it is. But, I know the feeling," she responded brightly. Addison smiled to Alice as she thanked her for the help, after arriving on the correct floor. Alice was just so adorable. She wondered if she had been just as adorable herself as a first year. It was always an interesting concept to inquire about. "You're very welcome," she responded. A light flush appeared on her cheeks as Alice complimented her and thanked her for restoring her faith in older students. "I'm not amazing, just trying to help out another student is all," she humbled herself, "But, thank you. Just remember that you'll be an older student yourself after a few years." Then, I'll get to help out the new Alice's of the school." Alice took a deep breath, was a smile on her face. "I can just hope I'll be as sweet, and as kind as you've been to me."Alice smiled at Addison once more. "Thanks again. I should really be heading to class." She said, as Alice turned her back on the Ravenclaw and started wandering away. Alice couldn't stop thinking about Addison. She was so nice. She was so kind. As Alice walked away, she turned around, and waved at Addison. She hoped she'd see the fourth year again soon. Skip to next post Re: (Nov. 16th) I can totally walk down stairs by myself. "That's the spirit! I'm sure you'd do a great job with it too. Thanks, she replied back to Alice. "Right, I would hate to make you later than what you already are. I'll be happy to see you again," Addison responded with a bright smile. The Ravenclaw watched the first year start to walk away, and waved back to her as well. Turning on her own heel, she headed off in the opposite direction. Skip to next post
