Erik looked down at a weary line of students marching along frozen staircases and sighing once one began  shifting to another platform. Foreigners still seemed to be baffled by the whole thing, and unaware of how to get down yet, along with a few first year wandering first years, but they would figure it out by the end of the year... Hopefully.

The young Gryffindor clapped his hands together to create a chalky light blue puff of some type of powder--a powder which was the result of a hard weekend at work on a wonderful prank. Erik then picked up the knotted ends of a ridiculously long sock that breathed wafts of the blue powder that gently caked the Gryffindor's red robes in a soft hue of blue; however, when the powder landed on his shoes, it not only showered his shoes in blue dust, it also caused his laces to start untying themselves.

As Erik looked down at the staircases, more students began to clog the enchanted steps making his elongated makeshift party popper sock prime to release a shower of blue powder--he just needed someone else to pull the other end of it... and after a quick survey of the other end of the tower he saw someone perfect for the job.
 
"Hey! Steel--er Irons!" Erik swung around one end of the sock before he launched it towards the first year Hufflepuff, "Catch!"

Quidditch practice had unfortunately given Erik a strong enough arm to throw the knotted end of the sock directly at the Hufflepuff boy's head.
