Physical Description: Tristan was fortunate to be born with both of his parent's best qualities. He has his father's greenish-grey eyes and his mother's slightly curly blonde hair. When he was younger, he used to wear a pair of reading glasses, but since he didn't actually need them, he has taken to not wearing them anymore. Recently he has let his hair grow out so that it doesn't look like a crew cut anymore.
He's about 5' 9" tall and has a slight muscular build that shows when he isn't wearing his school robes. The young, immature Tristan often found charms to put weird colored streaks in his hair, once in his third year he went three months with a yellow and orange streak just on the right side of his head. Now, though, he has decided that no color but his normal color is good enough for him.
Tristan does sport the occasional black eye or swollen lip because of his incessant trickery, the main reason for him learning healing spells.
Personality Description: Contrary to popular belief, Tristan has taken after his mother in the personality department. He's usually laid back and unconcerned with events going on around him. That is, until he gets it into his mind to play a trick on someone.
Tristan has a good sense of humor until the humor is directed at him. Then he gets pissed easy. Tristan's temper is not something you want to have aimed at him. Since he's usually laid back, his temper stores and when he gets angry he explodes. As a little boy when he exploded, he tended to shatter a few vases, now that he has a wand, it's more controlled, as in, jinxes and hexes sent towards the one angering him.
This 17 year old Ravenclaw is over-confident and will wait until the last moment to finish any homework because he believes that his best work is done in the nick of time and has proven it over and over.
Tristan is rather smart, but chooses not to show it outwardly, as in, his classwork. But when it comes to helping out someone in need or defending someone who is being bullied,
he tries to fix the problem as calmly as possible because he doesn't want to become a bully himself. But if that doesn't work, he uses his strength to get his point across.History: The Weird Sisters were exceptionally good that night, all of the people there at the concert were blissfully unaware to the light mist that had begun to fall over the crowded stands. It was late July and it felt good, as it was still sweltering hot at 11 p.m. Octavian MacElroy was backstage at the moment, he actually worked for the Sisters for sometime that summer, 22 years old and loving every moment of his job. He was about to round the corner of the stage when he bumped into two girls that were standing there. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE?" he yelled at them, causing both women to jump at the sound of his voice.
Elizabeth and her cousin Talia were surprised by Octavian yelling at them and quickly retreated back to the crowd. After the show, however, Elizabeth looked for Octavian and they struck up a conversation. She found him witty and smart, he thought she was rather beautiful. The group left soon after and the two of them said goodbye. It was 2 years before they saw each other again.
He was working in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office when he heard some commotion out in the corridor. Walking out of the office he saw a young woman in the clutches of a young man. She was hysterical and he was angry. "Let me go!" she exclaimed to the young man. This only caused the man to hold her closer. Octavian stepped in and pulled her away from the man, "I believe she asked you to let her go." he said calmly. "What's it to you MacElroy?" the other man asked. Octavian just shrugged and turned to the woman, "Are you alright?" Elizabeth nodded and rubbed her arm subconsciously. Ignoring the protests of the young man in the corridor, Octavian took Elizabeth into the office and sat her down in his chair.
It didn't take long before they were a couple. In fact, their relationship went pretty fast, 8 months later found them at a muggle Italian restaurant called Italia Nostra. After they had eaten their dinner and were now both sipping coffee, Octavian got out of his chair and faced his girlfriend. The lights in the restaurant dimmed and several waiters and waitresses came out from the back holding lit candlesticks. They gathered around Elizabeth's table and she watched as Octavian got down on one knee and pulled a ring box out of his pocket. Opening the box and holding it up to her, "Elizabeth Vivian, will you be my wife."
One enthusiastic yes, and a beautiful wedding later, Elizabeth and Octavian were husband and wife. A year later their oldest son Tristan was born. Tristan was raised like any only child, with as much love and affection as his parents could give him. In fact, some of their friends thought they were smothering him by all of the attention they were giving him. He was a spunky little boy who was usually laughing. When he was two years old he was gifted with a little brother named Gideon.
When Gideon was first born, Tristan was enamored with having a little brother, but as the two grew older, things began to change. Gideon was the tamer of the two, preferring to stay inside and read to being outside and playing with his brother. Then came the day when Tristan recieved his Hogwarts letter, he was enthusiastic about going to Hogwarts. Ever since his parents had told him about Hogwarts he wanted to go. The day he was to get on the train to go, Gideon made Tristan's life a living hell.
First he couldn't find his wand, then his trunk was unpacked and his stuff thrown all around his room. Then, when he confronted his brother, Gideon punched him in the face and it started a roaring fistfight. As the brothers rolled around in the hallway on the second floor and weren't able to see where they were going and they tumbled down the stairs and hit the first floor with a crash. Gideon had landed on top of Tristan and as his brother got up, Tristan realized he couldn't move his right arm. His parents rushed him to St. Mungo's and he found out that his arm was broken. After 30 minutes of excrutiating pain, and a disgusting taste in his mouth from the potion he took to fix his arm, he was escorted to Hogwarts by his parents and was sorted last, because well, the sorting was over by the time he got there.
Hogwarts was a piece of cake for Tristan, well, he scraped by in all of his classes except for Herbology and Potions. He was a bit of a trickster, but preferred to dole out the responsibilities and stay behind the fire so he wouldn't get into trouble.

Writing Sample: A cry was heard through the night in Godric's Hollow. It started out thin and pitiful, but soon grew into a loud shriek, one full of fear and pain. It was little Harry Potter and he had just witnessed what most of us never even imagined. A madman had entered his home late that night and silently made his way through the house - stopping only once downstairs to dispatch the elder James Potter with a quick curse. Voldemort then made his way slowly up the stairs and as James (right before he met his end) yelled up the stairs to his wife, Lily was ready. She had her wand with her and was standing in front of her son's crib. She made her pleas to the murderer but it did her no good. She turned and stared into the beautiful green eyes of her little boy and whispered, "I love you." as the killing curse hit her in the back. She crumpled to the ground. Voldemort made his way over to the crib and with a sneer on his face, aimed his wand with deadly intent at the boy's forehead. With malice running through his veins and the thoughts of being rid of a future threat running through his mind, he uttered the killing curse for a third time. The curse hit the little boy, but because of his mother's sacrifice it bounced off him and hit his attacker with full force. Voldemort's body disappeared and his spirit flew out of the house with remarkable speed.
The house wasn't in the best condition, the fight James and Voldemort had downstairs had almost destroyed the whole house. And sure enough, within seconds of the curse destroying Voldemort's body, the house collapsed, frightening Harry even more than he already was. His crib was turned over and he fell out and was rolled over to the side of what used to be his room. A few pieces of debris fell ontop of him, but nothing heavy enough to hurt him.
Sirius Black was the first one there, he felt that something was wrong with his best mate and rushed over as quickly as he could after sending a message to Remus Lupin, his other best friend. As soon as he appeared in front of the house he fell to his knees. He knew that at least one of the three occupants of the house had to be dead. But when the pounding of his heart died down in his ears, he heard it, the terrified wailing of a baby. 'Harry', he thought to himself and getting to his feet to make his way into the wreckage of the home. He heard a popping behind him and he wheeled around with his wand pointed out at whoever it was. "Hey, relax Sirius it's me." came Lupin's voice. "My God, what happened here?" he asked. Sirius didn't answer, but resumed his search for his godson. Lupin followed him and they picked through the debris carefully until they reached Harry's crib. "He's not in it." Lupin said. Sirius stared at it for a moment before he saw something that made his stomach churn, "Blood, Remus, he's hurt." Their search intensified, but it was difficult as now little Harry was tired of screaming and crying and was now only whimpering. Remus found him first. "Here he is Sirius... he's alive, just some scratches and a large cut on his forehead." Sirius rushed over to Remus, but tripped over something. He looked down and saw a head of red hair and had to turn away quickly to let loose the contents of his stomach.
