I made a new character, Christopher Dant, here.


Chris graduated from Hogwarts 2 years ago from Ravenclaw, and has been working as a trainee unspeakable for the Spell Experimentation and Research Office in the Department of Mysteries (so, he is 19 years old). He is generally quiet and curious. He enjoys reading and his work. As for social interaction, he could be quite awkward at times. But, he is a pretty confident person.

Chris needs friends, enemies, coworkers, and anything else you'd like to throw his way.

I have two characters that might be able to offer some assistance.

Jacqueline Lumpkin is a Senior Unspeakable, and is working very hard to get a promotion to Dept. Head. She'd be there to offer assistance and training to Chris, though she is rather rude and hard to get along with.

Then there's Charlie Robards who would have graduated from Hufflepuff last year and just recently got a job within the Ministry in the Department for the Restriction and Control of Magical Creatures.

So, I'm totally available for anything you wanna cook up!

So, I'll take it that Chris and Jacqueline would probably butt heads every now and then. I could see him dealing with her when he needs to for his job, but mainly trying to stay clear of her when it is not necessary. So, it would be a rather uneasy relationship, for him at least.

As for Charlie, I'm not immediately aware how much interaction they could have at the Ministry. But, Chris and Charlie could have certainly interacted when they were in Hogwarts together.

I'm Kit - and I have two characters in the same department - Francis and his niece, Theta who you would know, as she's Ravenclaw alumni, the year behind Chris.

(Other Ministry bods include Johann in the DIMC and Edwin who is head of DMAC)

I would be up for Chris and Theta to be friends for sure, she's a bit low on them, especially in the Department. If you are open to more than friends, then there's potential there, but no necessity.

Jump in the big Halloween thread if you want an intro there, as Theta's with Ruby and Johann at that moment, but you're really welcome to join.

Armiece here - I've also got Colin Downer 'ere, who's an Unspeakable - but as he works in the Death-related sectors of the Department, I'm not sure how much interaction they'd have! (Other than Colin getting experimented on - long story...)

Indeed, Chris would have the most interaction with Francis and Theta. I'm not too sure how much interaction occurs across departments, except for mostly in passing. But, I'm open for just about anything.

Chris would love to have Theta as a friend. I don't mind if they're more than friends. Chris would be a bit more awkward and possibly shyer as well, which is fine with me.

I'll take a look at the thread and eventually post.

The death-related department you say? Ooo, intriguing. Even if it isn't "official" business related to anything work related, I'm sure their interactions would be interesting. Or, perhaps if any spell in the Spell Research sector causes any deaths, they may work together?

Great - perhaps a starter for ten: meet Theta for lunch and find our feet?
