City & Country of Birth: Canterbury, England
    Blood Purity: Halfblood
    Alma Mater: Hogwarts, Ravenclaw
Job/Position: Trainee unspeakable at the Spell Experimentation and Research Office in the Department of Mysteries

Wand: 9 inches, Maple wood with a Phoenix Feather core, Supple and Smooth.

Physical Description: Chris stands at 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He has a lean body from when he played Qudditch, even though he no longer plays Qudditch. He has dark brown hair that always looks a little messy. The color of his eyes is brown. His face is shaped as an oval, and his cheekbones are slightly raised. His skin is slightly tanned from being outside, but he never seems to burn.

Chris's face is generally free of blemishes, since he takes good care of his personal hygiene. He showers regularly, maintaining a well-kept appearance, besides his slightly messy hair. He typically doesn't watch his clothing choices daily. He wears his robes to work. Otherwise, he is typically in a t-shirt and jeans, or other comfortable clothing on any other day. He doesn't watch his appearance, unless he is going to a special event or if he likes a girl.

Personality Description: As a relatively quiet person, Chris is not the type of person that could just walk up to someone to make a conversation. This is not to say that he is antisocial, as he would talk only if he is approached by someone else first. Yet, he had his fair share of friends while in school, despite this social roadblock. When approached by a girl that he likes, he becomes shy and awkward. He likes Qudditch, and prefers to watch it rather than play it due to his accident in his fourth year of Hogwarts. In addition, he likes to spend time outdoors as well.

Throughout his time in school, and even now in his job, his nose is quite frankly always stuck in a book or pouring over his notes. He thirsts for the knowledge that he finds. He was, and will continue to be considered, a nerd. Of course, his alma mater as Ravenclaw certainly helped in that label. But, it's a label that he doesn't mind attached to him. After all, he was rather devoted to his studies while in Hogwarts, and he is still devoted to his work now as he is training in the Spell Experimentation and Research Office.

During his time at Hogwarts, Chris liked the theoretical side of magic. Sure, he was able to cast spells just as well as the next person in his year. But, he liked studying why that effect happened. He liked to know the backgrounds of the different spells, and how the backgrounds impacted the spell's function. He was curious in his studies, trying to learn all that he could. This research not only helped him understand how to use the spells while in school, it helped him so far in his work as well.

Chris is a relatively confident person, and knows when he is doing his best work. At the same time, he knows when he doesn't do his best work, which he doesn't like presenting at all unless he is forced to. Otherwise, he would rather redo the work until he is sure that his work represents the best that he could do, with reference to his abilities. He hates to leave tasks uncompleted, and will always strive to complete them. He tends not fare well with multitasking, and doesn't try to complete multiple things at once. He would very much rather to complete each successive task one at a time.

History: On May 10, 1990, Chris and his twin sister Nicole were born to Henry and Michelle Dent as a halfblood family. His father worked as an auror in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and his mother worked as a healer at St. Mungo's. During his childhood, his parents taught him and his sister their virtues and explaining magic to both of them. Being a halfblood family, it was naturally expected that both children would become a wizard and a witch and attend Hogwarts. Ever since magic was explained to him, he was fascinated. When he learned to read, he liked to read up on the different spells. Even though he didn't have his own wand yet, he liked to practice with a stick in the family's backyard. He imagined himself casting those spells. Despite their sibling rivalry, he was able to get along with his sister. Nicole had been a bit more adventurous herself. While she had been interested in magic as well, she liked to explore their little magical home and yard.

While they were still young, Henry showed both his son and daughter how to fly using brooms that they owned. He taught his offspring how to play Qudditch as well during these lessons. Both children were shown both the rules and how to play the game. They didn't play at first with the real balls, just to make sure that no one was injured at first. As they progressed, they started to use the actual real balls used in Qudditch games.

In 1996, when Chris was 6 years old, Voldemort was actively attacking muggles. His muggle Grandfather was killed during one of these attacks. The local muggle newspaper claimed that it was a hurricane that attacked the village. Yet, Chris's family knew better. When Voldemort took over the Ministry in 1997, the Dant family was protective over their children. His father quit his job as an auror, due to not wanting to work under Voldemort's ruling. After all, they didn't want anyone to die. Once Voldemort's rule came to an end, Henry rejoined the Ministry as an auror.

At age eight, Chris finally displayed his magical ability by causing books to fly off a bookshelf before he could even reach it. Since Nicole displayed her own magical ability around the same time, their parents were overjoyed that their two children would become a wizard and a witch. There was still that bit of apprehension about sending them off to Hogwarts, due to the destruction that the castle suffered during the battle. But, after Hogwarts was rebuilt, it became official that Chris and Nicole were going to Hogwarts.

At age eleven, Chris and Nicole were sent off to Hogwarts. Chris was sorted into Ravenclaw, while Nicole was sorted into Gryffindor. As a first year, he was rather quiet, not talking too much. Sure, he was able to make some friends, but he wasn't a social butterfly. He liked to study the different spells that they learned in class. In addition, he enjoyed watching the Qudditch matches at the school. During his second year at the castle, he started to become the victim of bullying from some of his classmates, due to his quiet demeanor. It took several instances, before he eventually started to fight back at this bullying. When words didn't work, he would have to pull out his wand and cast some spells that he liked to study.

In his third year, Chris tried out for the Ravenclaw Qudditch team. Once doing so, he found the bullying to stop for the most part. He was able to join the team as a chaser. Despite the increased course load of his third year, he was able to balance that with the necessary Qudditch practice sessions. During his fourth year at Hogwarts, he continued the fast-paced nature of having Qudditch practices coupled with his workload. Before the end of his fourth year, he suffered an accident during the last match of the year. He lost control of his broom, and smashed into the ground. He was fully healed before he knew it, but decided against trying out for the team again, after that. He didn't want to suffer another injury.

During his fifth year at Hogwarts, Chris used his new available time to continue studying up on spells. By the end of the year, he sat his OWL examinations. He was able to receive Outstandings in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Transfiguration, and Potions. He received Exceeds Expectations in Herbology, History of Magic, Ancient Runes, Divination, and Care of Magical Creatures. He decided to continue studying Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, Ancient Runes, and Herbology.

During his sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts, Chris took his NEWT level classes. This saw an increased workload in his classes, as he studied the different material. He scored Outstanding in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, and Transfiguration. He scored Exceeds Expectations in Ancient Runes, Potions and Herbology.

Upon graduating from Hogwarts, along with his sister, Chris started to look around for a possible job for himself. After sending in possible applications, his father helped spread his son's name around the Ministry. The Spell Experimentation and Research Office in the Department of Mysteries told him that there were no openings so far, but that he could join as a trainee for the office. He has been working as a trainee now for over a year.
