[Nov 3] My, that color is wonderful on you [Eli]

It was perfect. Just perfect. It was a silly and quite primitive prank, something Kiba did in his younger years. It made him feel quite nostalgic. Stepping back a few metres, Kiba nodded and smiled at his handiwork. A bucket of brightly coloured green paint was balanced precariously on the door frame, ready to spill over as soon as someone came in the door. He wasn't the neatest person ever, so it was no surprise that Kiba's hands were smeared with the green paint. It would come off with water, but he didn't have time for cleaning, there was a prank in the making!

Kiba hoped it would all go to plan, but being a mastermind at all things trouble, it would certainly prove entertaining. He just hoped that someone annoying, like a prefect, wasn't the next person to come in. And if they were too young, Kiba would be labelled a bully. He didn't want that, just some harmless fun. Kiba nodded to himself as he came to a resoloution. No first or seventh years and also prefects, they would be a pain. Anyone else was fine.

Leaning against the far wall, Kiba crossed his arms across his chest, patiently waiting for his next victim. It would be obvious that Kiba did it, he did have the paint on his hands to prove it. But he didn't really mind. It's not like the person would die or anything, just a few splashes of water and the stuff will come right off.

Eli couldn’t remember a time when he had to use the loo so bad. He was quietly sitting in the library, putting the finishing touches on his star chart for this month, when it hit him like the rushing waters of the Nile River. Oh gosh… thinking about water only made it worse. He scrambled to grab his neatly finished chart, leaving everything else behind. Some lucky soul would happen upon Eli’s newly purchased bottle of spell-check ink and a brand new eagle feather quill. Not cheap, but right then, Eli didn’t really care. He would have thrown ten galleons at anyone as long as they left him alone to tinkle in peace.

Though he had to pee terribly bad, Elijah was very superstitious, and he would only use the lavatory on the 6th floor, much to his dismay because he was only on the fourth, and steps were not exactly a fun thing to tackle when you feel like your bladder is about to explode. Ignoring the protesting portraits, Elijah ran up the steps three at a time. Thankfully he knew where the trick steps were and by some miracle the staircases stayed put as he climbed for his life.

When he reached the hall, he ran as fast as he could to the door to the loo, star chart flapping in the wind as he went. With barely a pause, Elijah barreled into the bathroom and splat! a giant bucket of green paint fell all over him and his astronomy assignment. The young Ravenclaw yelled at the top of his lungs, and in the breath it took to gather the air for the blood-curdling screech that was sure to follow, the floodgates opened wide, and Elijah Fitzroy Grimlish wet his pants.

Kiba grinned in excitement as he heard someone rush towards the bathroom. As they opened the door and the paint came down, followed closely by a scream, Kiba was speechless for the first time in his life. He stood, staring at the now green Elijah Grimlish before bursting into laughter, doubling over and giggling like a school girl. Not only was that the best reaction he had ever seen from any of his pranks, but the poor boy wet himself. He didn't have time to feel sorry for Eli, this was the greatest prank ever. Cuff and jail him right now! After seeing that, Kiba would die a happy man.. boy.

"Oh.. my gosh, that.. was the greatest reaction.. ever!" Kiba gasped between laughs as he leaned against the wall, preventing him from toppling over in hysterics. After a few moments of laughing and calling himself the 'Master of everything', Kiba managed to stop laughing and looked up at the other boy. "I'm sorry, man." He said, trying to actually sound sorry, but that was proved very difficult when you had a smile on your face. "It's not permanent, just wash it off with water." He then paused and narrowed his eyes at Eli, gritting his teeth so he wouldn't burst out laughing again but a small chuckle escaped his lips. "Did you seriously just wet your pants?"

Elijah looked slowly down, with a look on his face comparable to a war victim looking down at his wounds for the very first time. This was bad, this was very very bad. The prank had gone over very well, too well in fact. Now, not only was Elijah completely humiliated, he was devastated as well. In one split second, Kiba had totally and effortlessly broken Eli into a million little pieces and as those pieces started to fall to the floor, tears started to leak from the corners of Eli’s eyes.

Instead of wiping them away, Elijah hung his head and began to weep silently. Not only had the thoughtless boy made Elijah become incontinent on himself, he also ruined a very important assignment for his NEWT level Astronomy class, a class that was very difficult and took hours to complete one assignment. Eli had been working on this particular star chart for almost a week. The boy had effectively ruined Elijah’s life, at least that’s how Eli looked at it.

When the insensitive cretin asked if the Ravenclaw has really just done as he had, Eli could no longer hold back the tantrum that was building inside him, and much like the pee that had come before it, the snot fest came rushing out on its own accord. “You foul, evil arsehole!” He yelled, tears leaving streaks in the green paint covering his face. He pulled his wand from the confines of his robes, and miraculously realized that it was pretty paint free, then pointed it directly at the Gryffindor boy.

With a great sob, Eli lowered his wand and aimed it toward his very ruined star chart. “Scourgify!” He managed to mumble out between sobs and watched as some of the thicker globs of paint started to siphon off the page. Elijah knew that there was too much paint for the work to be salvaged, but maybe Eli could clear it up enough to where he didn’t have to start from scratch when he tried to remake it.

Kiba flinched as Elijah pointed his wand at him. The boy was angry, that was a given and Kiba did feel bad for the kid, but he should really learn to take a joke. Kiba was kind of bummed at the Ravenclaw. Sure, his work was a little messed up, he peed himself and he had green paint splashed all over him. Actually, the more Kiba thought about it, the more he realised what a jerk he was. Damnit.

Taking a few hesitant steps towards Elijah, Kiba threaded his fingers together nervously. He felt really bad, and that didn't happen often. He suddenly realised that he was incredibly nervous. He had just humiliated someone terribly and made a huge fool of himself. This was terrible. Opening and closing his mouth a few times like a fish gasping for air, Kiba finally found his words, not that they were good words. "You're right." He said, chuckling nervously as he avoided looking in every direction but Elijah's. It was something he did in almost every situation and it wasn't a very good habit. It mostly tended to make the person more upset. "I am a foul, evil arsehole."

He eyed the ruined star chart and bit his lip. He'd really done it this time. Why did he have to act first, then think? He was stupid and irresponsible and he hated it, but it wasn't like he was going to change any time soon. Seeing Elijah sobbing and obviously upset, Kiba moved back towards the wall and held out his arms. "Go on!" He said, frowning slightly, "I know you're mad, hit me. Not with magic, but with your own fist." Kiba didn't really know what he was doing, but he felt awful and the guilt was eating at him. There he went again with the thinking after he acted. What if Elijah could hit really hard? Oh well, it was Kiba's own fault anyway, if the kid was a black belt in karate then so be it!

Eli glared at the boy in front of him. How dare he feel bad about what he did! Eli actually thought that his remorse was worse than the prank itself. If one was going to humiliate someone profusely, the least that person could do is bask in the glory of a wonderful follow-through. He actually wanted to yell ‘HELLO! I just pissed my pants, shouldn’t you be laughing?’ but he didn’t, because he was still pretty incoherent.

The sobs were starting to subside, and when Kiba suggested that Eli reciprocate by physically assaulting the Gryffindor, Elijah let out a laugh that sounded like a mixture of a dying cat and house elf’s squeal. Elijah was a wizard, not a muggle, and resorting to muggle violence was certainly not the answer. “I’m not going to hit you,” he said, wiping his eyes with finality. He would cry no more.

“Actually, it was a pretty damn good prank.” He said, putting his wand away and holding his hand out for the boy to shake. Elijah was still fuming inside, but he was cunning, and very logical. And logically, for every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction. Kiba utterly devastated Elijah, and Eli, though he had never had any inclination to in his life, was going to get revenge.

Kiba raised his eyebrows as Elijah complimented his prank. First he was blubbering like a baby, then he goes and says it was a good prank? A smirk pulled at the corner of Kiba's lips, had he gotten away with it? Narrowing his eyes critically at Eli, Kiba waited to see if he was going to burst into tears again or lash out, or do something.

Kiba didn't really do the whole 'forgive and forget' thing, and he didn't really know why the Ravenclaw wasn't still yelling at him. Oh well, why in the world was he questioning it? He had practically been forgiven, if you could call it that.

Kiba ran a hand through his hair and instantly regretted it, forgetting the green paint on his hands. Great, green highlights. He chuckled quietly as he glanced in the mirror and realised how silly he looked.  He then looked back to Eli, who had his hand stuck out to shake. "Of course it was a good prank," He laughed, hesitantly shaking Eli's hand, "What do you take me for, an amateur?"

Elijah’s mind had turned into pure Ravenclaw mode. He was analyzing the other wizard’s movements and the tones in his voice. He watched the way the Gryffindor carried himself and started to tear apart the actual prank. It was a simple prank, quite boring on the understanding, but pretty nasty on the activation. The prank lacked complexity, and that’s where Kiba had gone wrong. He had officially made an enemy of a very messed up boy, and that was a dangerous enemy to have.

He shook his body, much like a dog trying to repel water, to try and expel some of the paint from his frame. It was so thick and nasty that very little actually flew off, though some rather large globs fell to the floor beneath him. The restroom was a little chilled, and especially the ‘wet’ areas were getting really cold. He suppressed a shiver. Kiba might not have been an amateur at pranking, but he must have been an amateur when it came to reading people, because unless Eli had some spirits overtaking his body, he was changing his emotions pretty fast.

Obviously something was up with the Ravenclaw boy. He was actually pretty clam inside, as he planned for the Gryffindor boy’s downfall. Hopefully nothing showed on his face besides a friendly smile.
