The older girl's wink might as well have been an induction into the Order of Merlin. Noriko's eyes widened, and she looked startled, and then suddenly pleased. Gracie Slant had stuck up for her! The other girl was one of the most Slytherin-like Slytherins, and she was beautiful and really smart, and everyone knew that she had that one blond prefect wrapped around her finger besides.
