Damien had his bag slung over his shoulder, the leather muffled the sound of the metal and glass clinking together within it. He walked slowly through the hallways, his head down to avoid eye contact and such with other students and the staff. His sneakers scuffed against the ground, a product of him not picking his feet up high enough from the floor. He stumbled a bit, flailing his arms out and making him resemble an extremely awkward penguin.

He righted himself and continued on to his destination, one of the bathrooms on the second floor that wasn't used often. Some of the Hogwartians kept insisting there was a ghost in there, but he didn't care; as long as nobody that would tattle on him came in he'd be fine. Damien walked in slowly, closing the door behind him. There didn't seem to be anyone in the bathroom so he set his bag down in the middle of the floor.

He plopped down next to it, pulling out all sorts of different vials and bottles, and his cauldron. Thankfully he'd found a potion that didn't need to be heated so he didn't need to bring a burner with him. "Oh damn, where'd I put the-" He started, rooting through his bag for one specific container of bright pink liquid.

"There it is, oh man this is going to be great." He said with a smile, swirling the liquid around. He set in on the small wooden rack he had with him, double checking that he had all of the ingredients. He did, and then he checked his watch to find out that he had about an hour before at least some of his target robes would be in the laundry.

"Here goes nothing!" Damien said to himself, beginning the potion.

Mason lifted his head from his poetry notebook when someone entered the bathroom. Ever since first year, he loved to camp out in the bathroom and talk with the ghosts that would congregate. He stood up from his place leaned up against the wall in the lav cubical. He tucked his journal into his bag and stood up on the loo, peaking his hatted head over the top of the stall door.

A kid he didn't recognize was sitting in the middle of the lavatory, hunched over a few ingredients. Mason could see the different bits and pieces that the boy was putting  together, he was an American, one of the many to come to Hogwarts for the TWT. Mason hopped off the lid of the toilet and his feet made a cold clacking noise on the floor.

He swung the stall door open it, a high pitched squeaking came from the hinges. He was curious to see what the buzzed headed Salemite was up to. He came up behind Damien and cleared his throat. "What are you doing?"

Thea's bag bounced rather annoyingly against her leg as she hurried down the hall towards the disused girl's lavatory in which she knew for a fact she'd find Mason, folded into a stall with his long limbs pressed against the sides, oblivious to the awkwardness of this confined space. He'd be hunched over his journal of poems, scribbling madly and possibly biting his lip in concentration, a habit that he never seemed to notice and that she implored him to stop because it made him look a tad daft, but one that showed itself whenever he was focusing intently.

As a rule, Thea didn't hurry. She didn't see it fit to be rushing around everywhere like a mad top, mussing her hair and scuffing her shoes and making a sweaty mess out of a trip that could easily be taken at a leisurely pace. Even as a young child, she'd never understood why her peers had to be told not to run in the halls. She'd never understood the thrill they seemed to derive from barreling full tilt and, more often than not, sending themselves sprawling across the floor thanks to some obstacle they'd been to self-involved to spot. Besides, there were very few people in the world that Thea felt the need to hurry for. If she was meant to be somewhere, they could very well wait for her.

There, were of course, exceptions. One such exception being the one written on yellowish parchment and tacked to the message board in the Ravenclaw common room, with room for students names to be signed below. The knob of the door twisted easily in Thea's hand, and a small, excited grin--the type she rarely allowed herself--spread across her face as she raised her voice as soon as it swung shut behind her, so that it would rouse Mason from his poetry-induced trance. "Mason, the sign-up sheet for the next Hogsmeade trip is--"

Her voice ground to a halt and her features automatically schooled themselves into a mask of calm, before twisting into a perplexed expression as she beheld the sight before her. A boy who looked about her age was sitting right plop in the middle of the damp tiled floor with a cauldron in front of him, a bag open with it's contents spilled haphazardly about. "What in the world...?" Thea breathed.

Damien turned around at the sound of a bathroom door opening; damn, he'd assumed he was all alone in here. He forced a smile, mischevious and cautious. What was the American supposed to say to him, he was planning on dying some of the school robes pink in order to tick people off? "Uh, I'm..."

Luckily, he was interrupted. Not so luckily, it was another Hogwarts student. Damndamndamn, what was he supposed to do? He sat there in the middle of the floor, his jaw opening and closing as he tried to put words to his feelings.  They stared intently at him, surprise and other mixed emotions written on their faces.

"I'm, um... I'm practicing a potion for... uh..." What was he saying, he didn't even take a potions class  here. Plus the other students seemed to be his age so they'd probably know whether or not he was showing up to classes.

"I'm being reckless and stupid, surprise! You caught me!" He smiled, throwing his hands in the air. "Tada!"

Rohan carried a small black duffel bag at his side as he silently walked through the Hogwarts hallways, hoping there were no prefects waiting to catch him in the act.  As he crept, he reminisced of the note that was sent to him.  The paper sent from a Salem Junior read:  "Meet me at Moaning Myrtle's Lavatory for the prank of the century!"  Rohan accepted any and every chance to gag the rest of the school, even if it was sent by a Salem kid.  As he returned to reality and continued to creep in the shadows,  he had to plaster himself to the wall as he heard footsteps passing him.  Luckily, whoever was stomping by missed Rohan and his potions handbag.

As Rohan slowly opened the old door of the girl's loo, he saw an interesting scene.  The person he expected to be the Salem Junior was sitting in the middle of the floor, dumbstruck at the appearance of a fellow Ravenclaw.  Thea was standing in the room, looking confused at the culprit.  Rohan knew he could probably cover this up for his fellow prankster.  "Hey, stupid!" he shouted to the Institute's student.  "This is the girl's lavatory!  If you really wanted to practice potions, perhaps it should be done in the dungeons, with the potions professor."  He winked at Reynolds as he muttered, "Patriots."

Thea pursed her lips as his American accent grated against her ears. Leave it to the Americans to be immature. It obviously hadn't even occurred to this boy that he could be caught, and he evidently still wasn't particularly worried about it, judging by the goofy, relaxed grin on his face as he almost proudly explained that he was simply being...stupid.

Thea raised an eyebrow. "Stupid. I see," she said curtly, pushing a glass vial away with her toe and listening to the gentle clinking as it rolled over the tiles. "Congratulation, you've hit your mark."

The door behind them creaked open, and the Ravenclaw girl whirled around to see another of her house mates. She rolled her eyes as Rohan slipped into the lavatory, a black duffel back slung around his shoulder. His face momentarily registered surprise at the scene before him before he carefully schooled his expression. Thea sighed. If this boy was as surprised by the Salem boy as her and Mason, he wouldn't have bothered to hide his surprise. Which meant what he hadn't been expecting when he'd come through the door was the presence of two other Hogwarts students.

"Hey, stupid! This is the girl's lavatory!  If you really wanted to practice potions, perhaps it should be done in the dungeons, with the potions professor."

"Good point, Rohan." Thea said smoothly. "Although it does beg the question: What are you doing in a girl's lavatory?"

"I'm being reckless and stupid, surprise! You caught me!" ... "Tada!"

Americans... Mason thought as Han busted in through the door. Abby and Han had met, but the three of them did not hang out too often, either Han, or Absinthe, that's about it.

"Why is everyone here?" He said, his bathroom raided. He knew why Thea was there, looking for him, no doubt. But the Salem boy and Han never came into this bathroom, no one did, mostly him, about it.

"This really isn't a good idea" Mason said as Thea pushed a vial with her foot. "I'm going to go now, you coming Thea?" He was going to make a run for the nearest staff member, Mason didn't like the way this was set up, prank or no prank, this was a really bad idea, that they had to sit in a girl's loo to do something that obviously that would result in contraband.

Mason did not want to be smuggling contraband.

"Why is everyone here?" "This really isn't a good idea." "I'm going to go now, you coming Thea?"  Mason.  Of course Mason was going to leave, and promptly locate the first adult to notify them of the prank.  Rohan knew Mason well, and Mason hated to get in trouble.  But he did, quite often, probably because his best friend loved to get him into a mess.  As Mason paused, waiting for Thea's reply, Rohan motioned to Damien to stand in front of the door, blocking Hawkins' and Darby's exit.  He would not allow them to leave, even if he had to cast a few spells.  His wand was concealed so neither of the tattle-tales would retaliate.  He did not want to get in trouble for a prank who's effects he didn't even know.  "Okay, we can talk this out."  Rohan motioned to Reynolds.  If the American wanted to be the captain, then he was going down with his class-clown ship.

Thea nodded to Mason gratefully. "Yes. Leaving. That sounds excellent."

But when they turned to go, they found the door barred by Rohan and the American. "Okay, we can talk this out." Said Rohan in the overly calm voice of someone speaking to small children, or nervous animals. Thea blanched.

"Excuse me?" she said incredulously. "I think not. We were just leaving..." she took a step forward, but neither of the troublemakers moved aside. She glanced at Mason in alarm. "You can't keep us here." she said, forcing her voice to remain calm, her tone logical.

Chloe had been standing quietly on the toilet for some time now, for as soon as she heard voices, she hopped up, pulling her feet out of view. Chloe loved to come to this bathroom, for it was close to her classrooms, and rarely did anyone use it. The thing was, Chloe's mother sent her a monthly magazine from the muggle world. It was a teen magazine about hot guys and hot styles. Though she'd never admit it, Chloe LOVED this magazine, but couldn't read it anywhere but here.

So, here she was, hovering in a stall, listening to conversations. Her bag was by the sinks, and she couldn't walk out with the magazine in her hands, so she was kind of stuck. So, Chloe stuck the magazine under the back of her vest, hoping it wouldn't be noticeable. As she got up and left, Chloe noticed a cauldron. A cauldron in the bathroom. Definitely NOT okay. She leapt out, walking angrily. "Who's is this?" She asked, before noticing the small cluster of students.

Chloe fully emerged, her eyes large. "Really?" She looked at each person, before deciding who could possibly think that this was smart. "Damien and Rohan! You know you shouldn't brew potions anywhere but the dungeons!" She brought a hand to her head. "I have to report you. I do, and you know it. So, move aside. Please." She said, in a controlling voice, as though talking to children.

Chloe looked anxiously at her bag on the other side of the bathroom. If only she could get to it, get her wand, and threaten them, then maybe, she could be allowed to pass, and go tattle. "Thea's right. You can't keep us here."

"Rohan and I are strong enough to keep you all in here, I'm positive. As for you Miss Chloe, you can't just be running off to tattle on us like a goody-two-shoes. That'd ruin all of the fun!" Damien said, "I'm sure you wouldn't do that to your fellow students right?"

"Besides, who wouldn't want to see Durmstrang in hot pink robes, seriously. They would have a fit, and it''d be so much fun to watch!" He protested, throwing a big smile to everyone. Damn, he was totally screwed, totally and completely screwed.

Though he'd never admit it, it was awkward enough that all these goody children were in here, foiling his prank. Stupid Ravenclaws and their stupid rules and their stupid... goodness.

Mason was still fuming mad with Rohan, he was planning on making up with him tonight, but depending on the outcome of this situation, he may or may not. The two boys blacked the door, shoulder to shoulder. "You can't keep us in here,we have to go to the second task! Let us out, now!" Mason said, his voice solid.

"This is bad, I don't want to be involved, let Chloe, Thea, and I out, O-U-T, out, did you get that American? Or do I have to say it slower?" Mason Tried pushing in between the two, much stronger boys out of the bathroom. Where were the ghost to scare off the bullies when you needed them?

"Hey, hey, chill out, small fry.  You're not going anywhere.  And Americans arent dumber than us, stupid."  Rohan shoved Mason to emphasize his point.  "You can come out when we say you can.  Which is not now.  For now, you can wait," He commanded his Ravenclaw prisoners.  "I wouldn't want to do this, but you guys will have to say while we work this out."  This was beginning to become a crisis.  Him and Damien were going to be in hot water for days after this stunt.  Rohan turned to Damien and whispered, "What now?"

"Let's make a compromise, you all can leave, but you can't go running off to teachers and the like or else... or else very bad things will happen. My skills with a wand and a batch of potion ingredients are outstanding, so watch out." Damien threatened, well he didn't really threaten them, it was more of a boyish sort of threat. Like when you're little and you tell the girls next door that you're going to steal their dolls, gosh who would touch those things anyways, let alone steal them.

In the center of the floor, the forgotten cauldron was beginning to bubble over, pink goo spilling over the top. It was reaching across the floor, towards the heels of the Ravenclaw prisoners. Damien noticed it at the last second, before it ran over the feet of one of the students[1], "Watch it!"

 1. Whoever wants to get their feet covered in goo can write it in. Trust me, it comes off... maybe. Damien will probably rescue them, but again... maybe.

Chloe scoffed. "That's an empty threat. You dare do anything to anyone and you will not even make it to the Yule Ball. You wanna test me? I may not be a prefect but I sure as hell will tell. It's my duty as a student at this school. Not that I expect you to understand anything about duties except those pertaining to the bathroom, but pretty much, it's our job to put an end to any and all tomfoolery before it happens."

"And Durmstrang, really? What have they done to you guys? Intimidated you? Freaked you out? Hm?" She rolled her eyes. "I mean really? Do you actually have the over confidence to think that you can just get away with whatever you-" Chloe cut short as Damien shouted "Watch out!" as a hot pink goo began nipping at her heels. She let out a small screech, as she jumped on to Mason's (Just happened he was close enough) back. "GET THAT STUFF OUT OF HERE!" She yelled.
