Friends, neighbors, othermen . . .

So I've got this kid Asher Grin who's desperately in need of friends, enemies, rivals, romantic interests (with a huge blushing question mark) and other people to fill in his social life.  I'm specifically looking for anyone willing to enter the Forbidden Forest (because Asher wants to see a unicorn) or tutor him in Astronomy (hint: the forest is less painful, even with the giant spiders). [1]

Any takers?  Or questions, suggestions, remarks?

Asher is twelve.  He's a halfblood who got sorted into Ravenclaw because his curiosity is going to get him killed one day--the kind of kid who'll stick his fingers in the electrical socket and flip the switch, and then get back up, find his socks, and try it again to see if that happens every time.  Oh, and he thinks girls are probably from Venus but hasn't decided whether this is good or bad yet.

Mason is a 6th year claw who could tutor Asher in Astronomy. If you want to do like a 'older class men takes 2nd year under wing' scenario, I'd be cool with that.

Yeah--Asher could benefit from something like that.  He thinks astronomy is 'useless, useless and probably made up' but is also panicking over his dropping grade.  Perhaps he approached Mason in the common room, or simply asked whether anybody could help him with some calculations . . . let me know if-when you'd like to do a thread on that.

Dahlie is a Hufflepuff but she's rather friendly with the rest of her year and she's ridiculously smart (we're talkin' the next Hermione Granger kinda smart) She's always up for general threadness and tutoring. She also has a mischievous twin brother who's in Gryffindor and part of a rather trouble making trio in the Lion's House.

A Ravenclaw who thinks Astronomy is useless or made up? He's fired. Gone! He can go hang out with the Slytherins, the little traitor.

If you'd like to 'ave Tapendra here involved in any of that, I'd be happy to thread with you. <3 Will likely have a class available for the 2nd years in a week or so, as well.

Dahlia:  Asher'd probably be pretty impressed, but keep his distance (girl cooties!).  Although classes could be fun!  Not to mention, her brother sounds like a blast.

Professor Trishna: Lol, yes, many people would like to know how on Earth he got into Ravenclaw.  He'll definitely be falling asleep in your class--I can't wait!  Also asking when he'll ever need to know this stuff in real life.  And messing around with telescopes.  I am seriously excited about your class.
