She laughed. "As I'll ever be." She smiled, As she placed her hand on his shoulder, and held his hand. "A 1, 2, 3 situation. I think I can manage that." She smiled. "Well. Are you ready?"

This would be fun, she thought. It was just dancing.

"I guess I'm ready too" Mason smirked and leaned to the left as he took the first step forwards with his left foot, "One" He stated out loud. He moved his right foot forwards, "Two" He careened to the side as he stepped backwards. "Three, then we repeat I think"

He did the steps once more mentally counting. one, two, three, one, two, three, one two three, turn!

He stepped away from Chloe, one hand still clasping hers, standing in just the right way so she would unfurl completely in a dazzling twirl.

She listened to Mason count, a smile on her face, as they waltzed around. He wasn't that shabby of a dancer. In fact, he truly was kind of good. They waltzed and waltzed until he stepped away from her, twirling her out like a ballerina. She let out a giggle, as she fell to the ground from dizziness, pulling Mason down as well.

She lied there, giggling. "That was fun."

Chloe twirled out and kept twirling, right into the grass. Chloe giggled. Mason's heart sped up. Her laugh was like millions of bubbles floating in the air, shiny and perfect.

"That was fun."

Mason's hand still softly grasped Chlo's hand. He didn't dare move it. "Yes, yes it was." The autumn sky was bright blue and the clouds had a personality of their own. Using his other hand, Mason pointed to a peculiar little puff above them.

"Is it just me or does that cloud look like bunny rabbit? Mason asked, turning his head so he could look at Chloe.

"She looked up. "Yeah, I does," She said, before standing up. "But, I've gotta go." She turned her back on him, her smile disappearing. "I've gotta go see someone."

Chloe picked up her book she was carrying, before starting to run off. What would Heinrich think if he saw me doing this? She thought. Mason did not know about them, and she wanted to keep it that way.

"Yeah, I does,"..."But, I've gotta go.".... "I've gotta go see someone."

Chloe's hand slipped out of his as she stood to go. "Okay where?" He asked sitting up, but she had already disappeared.

I've got to invite her to the Yule ball if it's the last thing I do...
