They dated, visited Amina's parents in Italy, and had fallen into an even deeper love. Soon, the couple was happily married. The first child of theirs was named Aiden. This child was quirky and full of energy, but with no one to play with, his parents considered a second son. Born just after Aiden, Lukas was the perfect friend for him. The family was happy. But Amina and Iain weren't done. Their third and final child was the clever Rohan. When he was little, he and his brothers had a wonderful time playing together, under their mother's watchful eye. Luckily, this muggle was aware of magic, so the strange instances of sorcery had explanations. Because Iain had the high-paying job at Gringots, the family had plently of assets. All was well. Aiden and Lukas, being older than Rohan, constantly taunted him for whatever reason they could come up with, and the young Rohan was left to fend for himself when Amina passed away. As much as their father tried, Iain could not save her. After Amina was gone, Iain became sour and rotten. He hated everything about anything without his loving wife. Rohan, being kind at heart, tried to cheer his father up with jokes and funny stories, but nothing would replace his Italian lover. In his first five years at Hogwarts, Rohan easily fell into place with the other students, and to his glee, he was sorted into Ravenclaw. He made friends easily, and spent most of his time hanging out in the Ravenclaw den after classes ended. His favorite class was Ancient Runes, whereas his least favorite was Arithmacy due to the fact that even if the teacher was interesting and able to entertain, Rohan hated memorizing formulas and repeating the same function over and over. In the night hours, he worked on his homework and completed it… most of the time. He only did it for his grades. Doing work, after class, was his bane. Writing Sample: Rohan sprinted to his room, frantically searching for the suitcase he had packed the previous day. He practically kicked down the door and scanned the room. "Bingo." He l0cated the bag underneath his bed, then promptly leaped down the rickety stairs. He landed in the lobby. The room was overdone so guests would overlook how out-of-shape the rest of the home was. It wasn't dirty, just disorganized. The foyer had a nicely trimmed carpet accompanied by red walls with paintings hung periodically. Suitcase in tow, he quickly opened the door, shouted goodbye to his father, and left for the train to Hogwarts. He jumped into his blue caddy and hit the road. The car was comforting as it reminded Rohan of his mother, who had passed away. As he drove, thoughts of Hogwarts and his friends danced in his head. When the station, came into view, he sighed in relief. "Hogwarts, here we come!"
