Physical Description: James is tall young man with damn good looks. His eyes shockingly blue and his eyelashes long. A human incarnation of a god. His blonde hair is cropped in a perfect spikes and glints gold in the sun. His muscles are thick and hard. His jaw is squared and his cheekbones high. James' little finger on his right hand curves inwards. His Lotusorder birthmark sits on the left side of his neck, just below his hair line.

Tattoos cover his back, black and green tattoos, and of course a Gryffindor lion.


Personality Description: James is a tough cookie to crumble. His size and physique attract attention good and bad. He's quite a party boy who likes girls, stars, girls, planets, firewhiskey, making things blow up with magic, and playing pranks.

Anything physical, James is on it. He loves spunky attention seeker who naturally loves life and wants it to be as fun as possible. Be it drinking games, or just the toss of a Frisbee, James is on it. He was always attracted to the outdoors and being outside and just doing whatever felt right at the time.

His friends share his love of being outside and thrill seeking, like riding brooms at a high enough altitude over the lake next to James’ house until one of them passes out and another has to cath chim and another has to hunt down his broom. Sometimes James just doesn’t know when to stop.
Sometimes, girlfriend Tina worries that James will get in really big trouble or be arrest on account of his shenanigans. She tries to warn him constantly about the dangerous stunts her pulls, and sometimes, it even works.

But, little sisters are not much fun. James never really paid much attention to little Annette. He tended to avoid her, he never formed a solid relationship, but now that she's more mature he thinks it's time for brother sister bonding.


History: Octavian Lotusorder, a wizard working for the Ministry of Magic, met Brenda Strange, a muggle at a P.T Barnum and Ringling Brothers Circus while studying muggle behaviors. Brenda and Octavian fell in love faster than the Golden Snitches wings beat. Brenda discovered Octavian’s wizard talents when he conjured up a ring of cold fire and asked her to marry him. After 3 years of marriage Brenda gave birth to James Kane Lotusorder.

At eleven, James and his family moved to Olton Broad, Suffolk his new best friend Mark Hunter, lived just down the street and they spent most waking moments together and they attended Hogwarts and James instantly fell in love with astronomy. He was given a telescope at 12 and spent almost every night home on the roof of the families lake house, charting stars ans constellations, even allowing toddler Annette to join him sometimes.

As James grew older, he became more academically involved, he was given top grades in most of his N.E.W.T.’s, except for potions, he never was good at concocting syrums and antidotes, he just didn’t have the patience for it, there was too much other fun stuff that he could be doing.

After a little bit of natural boy immaturity, James cracked down on his studies and given head Boy position during his 7th year at Hogwarts His friends made fun of him for being a goody-two shoes- but he took his job seriously and was one of the easiest going Head Boys in Hogwarts History, giving firsties a few more minutes to get to class and other stuff that wouldn’t get him in trouble.

During 6th year James met his girlfriend Tina, a 5th year Ravenclaw during a very bad prank pulled by the prefects and it ended in people’s appendages getting stuck together- and Miss Tina Fortson had the privilege of getting stuck hands with charming Mr. Lotusorder. Then a few mushy dates later, POOF, magic they were a couple.

After he graduated, James immediately moved out and found himself a stable job, working as an astronomer's apprentice.Mr. Pickering gives good pay, but is no piece of cake to work with, or a pretty portrait to look at. With his pay James lives in a 1 room apartment, in Diagon Alley, that he rented, with his girlfriend.


Describe your job duties and how you go about them: James has always had a love for stars, his parent used to tell him when he was little that all the stars were his and that as long as the stars were in the sky, he would be loved. He works with Mr. Pickering, his master, and is in charge of plotting stars and other astrocartographer jobs, such as making astrological maps and selling the maps to people who believed that their astrological sign dictated their life. In a little lab just out of Kent, the two men traverse the galaxy through their telescopes.

Mr. Alfred Pickering has always had the same passion for space like James did, and he found a way to make a living of it, he tried finding a job at Hogwarts as the Astronomy Professor some years ago, but he was too old to travel up and down the tower stairs every day, and as he continues to age, he hired James to take over his business after he passes. James understands how important this is to Mr. Pickering and puts work before fun.


Elaborate on your expertise in your field: : James has a natural bond with the stars, before he found his powers, he dreamed of being and astronaut and going to the moon, so astronomy was a snap, NEWTs classes were a breeze, top notch grades in astronomy since first year and he continues his passion by star gazing regularly, by taking Tina and his telescope out to the country by apparating to his favorite little meadow in Dover.
