FOUR DEAD, TWO MISSING

In late August a group of witches and wizards from the Department of Magical Cooperation set out on a diplomatic mission into the Black Forest. Supposedly they were heading out there to discuss a matter of utmost important with a sect of vampires, however the exact details of said mission had been rendered completely and utterly classified - so much so that not even yours truly was able to ascertain anything more than their destination. What they could be discussing with the vampires is anyone's guess but it seems as though things didn't go as planned.
On November 11th four bodies were discovered by a group of muggles hiking along the outskirts of the Black Forest. The muggles have had their memories rightly modified by Obliviators and the bodies were soon identified. All four - Miranda Hollington (35), Gerald Finnigan (57), Henry Greaves (48), and Thomas Jenkins (27) - had suffered grievous injuries that are commonly found amoungst victims of vampires.
While there has been no official statement from anyone within the Department of Magical Cooperation, it has been released that there are still two members of the Diplomatic mission missing - Genevieve Louckes (19) and Mateo Amherst (18), - both recent interns within the Department. Our hearts and wishes go out to Louckes and Amherst families and we hope for the safe, healthy return of both.
