Through their whole conversation so far, Asher seemed to have a response to just about everything that she had said to him. So, his silence caught Addison by surprise. Was it something that she said? Something that she did? She didn't believe so. But, sometimes she did miss these social cues as she rambled on with a random topic. Could it have been possible that she could have done that? After all, she was just rambling on about strange traditions. It was certainly possible that she created a social no-no in the process. What it was, she had absolutely no idea.
While Addison contemplated this thought, she completely missed the blush on his cheeks. There were apparently many things that made her miss things that she should have noticed. Her art, random ramblings, and now deep thoughts all caused that same reaction. Before she could potentially say anything on that subject, she was brought back to the conversation by his mutter. Then he looked around the room. What could have been going on? She definitely missed something if he was now looking around the room. Was he possibly bored by her already? Sure, she was a nerd that liked art, but she didn't think that she was that bad to make someone else bored by her. Yes, she was definitely confused by this. Could she possibly be overanalyzing this situation?
During her over-analysis, Asher had changed the subject now. Addison shook her head slightly, so she would stop thinking too much. Perhaps she would miss something else if she didn't stop. "I um, I'm from Greenford. No endless farms, but a rather nice stream that is nearby where I live. I personally think it would be cool to live on a farm, tending to the different crops that you harvest. It's a rather relaxing exercise, or at least it is in Herbology," she rambled.
