Headmaster,

I'm sure that by now you have heard that much of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team has been sidelined by illness.  I have asked for volunteers from the rest of the house to fill the open slots on the team.  One of the volunteers for the role of keeper is Alice Hunter, a first year student.  Normally first year students are not permitted to play but there is recent historical precedent in the person of Harry Potter.  I ask that she be permitted to play, on the condition that every conceivable step be take to ensure her safety.  I will rely on your wisdom and the expertise of Madame Hooch to make the correct decision.
