Xiomara,

As you no doubt have heard, much of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team has been sidelined by illness.  Many of the other Hufflepuff students have risen to the occasion and have volunteered to step into the empty slots on the team.  Alice Hunter, one of your first year students, has volunteered to be our keeper.  Out of respect for the courage she has shown in doing so, I have asked Headmaster Reid if he would be willing to allow her to play.  As you know, there is precedent for this, in the person of Harry Potter, another of your students.  I would satisfy any condition that you could set in order to ensure her safety in this matter.

Yours,

Leopold Sandusky
Leopold,

You know my objections against First Years on the pitch, but they have been allowed to play from time to time.  I don't know what Reid will say, but since Alice Hunter's in good standing in her Flying Class I'll permit her to play in this match.   Anything else and we'll have to talk.

Glad to hear Hufflepuff won't forfeit, but be ready for Slytherin.

Hooch
