The main problem with the body swap, from Alex's perspective, was not being in Seto's body, although that was disconcerting. She was taller than she was used to, which was nice, but strange, and she had a Scottish accent, which was really strange. It sounded like someone else every time she started speaking. And being a guy was really weird. But that paled into insignificance beside Seto being in her body, because she didn't trust him with it. At all.

Sitting in the kitchens with Seto seemed like a sensible idea, when compared to the alternative, which was leaving Seto with her body unsupervised. One day of classes wasn't that bad, and while she was loathe to miss Transfiguration being taught by Sandusky in Connor's body, she was hoping that she could convince Seto that they should attend.

Sighing, she used her wand to turn an empty crate into a chair and sat down on it, running a hand through hair that was shorter than she would like. It was irritating that there was no news on why the swap was taking place, at least that would give her a time frame for how long she would need to watch Seto. It wasn't spending time with Seto that was an issue, it was being forced into it by the situation. Oh, and that he was in her body. That was the main issue.

"Can I have a cup of Ceylon please? Milk, no sugar" Alex instructed one of the house elves with a polite smile, still slightly disconcerted by her words coming out in Seto's voice. Crossing her- his- the legs she was currently using felt strange, so she uncrossed them.

"You like Ceylon, don't you? I need a cup of tea, and I don't want it to taste revolting." Taste was primarily dictated by the body, so the Ceylon probably wouldn't taste quite the same, but it was still tea. Alex wanted tea, no matter whose body she was in.
Well today had certainly gotten off to a rather interesting start. There he was minding his own business, sweet talking Alex at Ravenclaw when, poof, he now was Alex. Not that he really cared, after all, being stuck in a girls body could become quite... entertaining, but, well, the entire thing was a laugh. The bodies people were thrown into and the chaos of the whole thing. Seto almost wished he was in on it, because he sure wanted to shake the hands of the clever people who came up with such an idea.

Alex, however, was of course less amused. Seto wondered what it was like to lack a sense of humor. Of course, he did have to admit that if he was in her position he wouldn't trust him either. Wait did that make sense? Well regardless, she didn't trust him not to go running off and playing with her body, which, let's be honest, he totally would do if given the chance and he didn't feel like going to class today.

Thus, kitchens.

"I don' think I've ever had... Wha'd ya call i'?" Seto replied sleepily before taking another bite of the biscuit he had taken earlier. "Wha' is i'? Tea o' some sor'?" At least it sounded like some fancy pants tea to him. Of course with his luck it could be coffee. "I dunno, I'll probably like i'." Or if he didn't it would at least be amusing to watch her-him spit it out. At least if it didn't make him sick. Then that would get him going. "I jus' hope you like sweets, cause I'm gonna be eatin' a lo' of them."
"Tea," Alex confirmed, nodding her head- well, Seto's, but it was easier to think of it as hers- and watching Seto move her body. Seeing herself sitting there, eating a biscuit, was putting her on edge. It was her body, and not having it under her control was worrying. Seto… well, Seto wasn't the worst person to have in her body- Connor had probably won that draw- but he wasn't the best person either. In fairness, Alex probably wouldn't trust anyone with her body. It felt invasive.

"Avoid ones that are supposed to taste like mango, but other than that pretty much anything is okay," Alex said, shrugging. "Try not eat so many that I'm ill." Not that anybody over the age of seven would eat enough sweets that they would be ill, although since not being in one's own body was strangely freeing, maybe Seto would. Which lead her to question whether it would be okay if Seto/Alex's body threw up while she wasn't in it, since she wouldn't be the one doing the actual throwing up, and then decide that it wasn't because it was her body.

Alex accepted the tea from a houself, and stirred it before taking a sip. She scrunched up her nose in distaste, but swallowed it anyway before taking another sip. It tasted strange, but it was still identifiably Ceylon, so Alex could drink it. Seto's body would have to cope, tea wasn't going to kill it. "Seto, is it possible that you had anything to do with the fact that the majority of the faculty seem to have swapped bodies?" Alex asked, not adding any threats about what she would do if he had. "Despite it being irritating, it's an impressive feat."
"You don' like mango?" Seto asked in disbelief. "What's wrong with mango's?" Mango's were one of the best tropical fruits in existence. Papaya had nothing on the mango! After all it was typically a mango and some other fruit smoothie, or ice cream, or some such. That girl ain't right. Oh well, fine, whatever. He won't eat any bloody mango's. Not that it will stop him from eating too much food to make him-her-sick. After all how the hell would he know her limit until he hit it? He could eat a great many amounts of sweets before feeling ill. And actually he did that more often than he liked to admit. With muggle candy, of course, none of this fucking crazy wizard stuff that burned holes into your tongue. Seriously, who came up with that? No, he'd stick to his skittles.

Seto gave a slight grin. "Girl, you know I ain' clever enough to come up wit' somethin' like tha'." Not that he didn't know of a few people who were. "Bu' trus' me, if'n i' were me ya wouldn' be sittin' square in my torso sippin' some... whatever ya said tha' was." Not that he really minded hanging out in hers. With that he poked his head up from behind the counter they hid and grabbed a nearby bottle, not caring to see what it was before readying to take a swig.

But then he remembered what Alex had said and stopped. After all what if she didn't like whatever this was and it caused her body to vomit everywhere. No better think this through. Carefully Seto turned the bottle and read the label eyebrow cocking as he noticed the words. Moscato d'Asti. Now Seto didn't really know much about... well anything, but he did know his alcohols. And Moscato d'Asti was a rather nice dessert wine. "Hope ya like swee' and white," he commented, taking a swig.

"No, I said not to eat mangos because I want to deprive you of your primary food source," Alex said, more focused on searching for some kind of food that wasn't mostly sugar. Giving up, she snatched some shortbread from a plate, looking at it without a great deal of enthusiasm. Sugary food was nice on occasion, but Alex would rather eat more savoury food. Seto, however, seemed to like sugar if the brightly coloured muggle sweets he ate were anything to go by, so shortbread sgould taste fine.

"Just call it tea," the Ravenclaw muttered while taking another gulp of the drink, "And making sure that you were included in those affected would be a very good argument in favour of your innocence," Alex frowned, aware that Seto probably wouldn't have done that, but equally possible was an error in judgement. Pleading stupidity was a very convincing argument, "ah well, I'm sure someone will find out eventually." Giving up on the tea as a lost cause, she swallowed the rest of it.

"Fine, now share,"  Alex ordered, hand held out expectantly. Alcohol in the middle of the day wasn't classy, but Alex was not especially concerned about class at the present time, as proved by eating shortbread and wine. Or just shortbread. It was a strange combination, and not the best, but Alex was hungry. She blamed Seto's body, because she had eaten breakfast already.

"Is there anything I shouldn't eat or drink?" she asked belatedly, looking at the shortbread in her hand with a little guilt.
