Physical Description: Mark is 5 foot 10, and weighs 154 pounds. He is light skinned, and has some muscle mass. Mark has dark brown eyes and his hair seems black when it is truly dark brown. His hair never lays flat, and he tends to spike up the front of it.

Personality Description: Mark is a nice guy, and he's easy to get along with. He has a sense of humor, but he isn't over outgoing. He won't be the one to start up a conversation at the bar just because. However, if someone else starts the conversation, he will join in, providing he's in a good mood. Mark is non confrontational, and believes in rationality. Instead of fighting physically, he fights verbally, usually under his breath. This is what usually gains him a black eye.

Mark is a little flirtatious, and thinks himself a good boyfriend. He doesn't tend to flirt immediately with a girl (with an exception if there are mass amounts of firewiskey in his system), as he builds a relationship before going to ask the question. Mark is really a sweet guy, if he seems a little quiet. And he is there for those he loves through and through.

Mark feels indecisive about becoming a criminal. He is worried that he will get caught, but at the same time, he is tired of playing by the rules, as he has done his entire life.  Mark keeps it a secret from his parents, as they only think he is selling his potions in Diagon Ally. He believes that as long as he is careful about his selling, and is quiet about his smuggling that he is mostly safe from the Aurors. He understands the risks of this, but at the same time, he feels he is smart enough to be able to cover his tracks. Mark is worried about doing the illegal things, he does know the risks, but he feels like it is just about time that he did take a risk this big. He feels like he has nothing else that he can lose.


History: It was a snowy Wednesday, the day Mark was brought into the world. A giggling baby, with dark brown hair. It was Franklin and Cynthia's first child. And a wonder he was.

Mark learned to speak incredibly early, and started reading before he was two. When he was two, in 1986, Jane was born. To Mark, this was very odd. One day, he's an only kid, and the next there is a crying, screaming baby dressed in pink. He continued to grow up, trying his best to be nice to his sister. However, he quickly realized that Jane was not into the same things as him. She didn't like talking about space, or how catipilliars grow into butterflies.

In September of 1995, Mark went to Hogwarts. He was sorted into Ravenclaw, and quickly cultivated a love for potions. 1996 and 97, Mark did very well in school, and in 1998, the fall of Hogwarts began. Mark started to realize the bad things that were starting to happen. The Carrow siblings took over, and tried to rip apart  Mark and Jane. Mark would not stand for this however, and received beatings for refusing to leave his sister's side. Mark tried to get letters to his mother and father, but they were intercepted and destroyed.

He started to just obey, even though that was hard for him to do. They threatened that they'd hurt his sister if he didn't start to comply. When him and Jane came home for christmas break, his mother was very concerned about his current well-being after seeing him bruised. Their mother then smuggled them quietly, out of the country and to Franklin's sister's house.
A few months went by, and in February of 1998, the Hunter's welcomed another baby into the family. Little Alice was a quiet baby. She smiled a lot. She was born while the family was still hiding in franklin's sister's home.  The 15 year old Mark liked to look at her and play with her. Jane on the other hand, just tried to smother her with stuffed animals.

In June of 1998, the Hunters went home. Mark who was still 15 spent his time trying to teach himself the things he missed in school for the past few months. Everyone grew up, and Alice and Mark created an amazing relationship, in which they both cared for each other.

In the summer of 2004, his mother found a baby on the front stoop and adopted him as their own. Little Colin had beautiful blue eyes, and was a very happy baby.

For the last few years of his Hogwarts career, Mark began focusing more on his potion making. He graduated in 2007 with high marks. 

He moved back home, trying to find employment. Mark began to use his love of potions to create some, and sell them to different vendors in Diagon Ally. but he finally decided on being a freelance potion maker, selling his potions to whoever would buy them. This worked for a while, until he felt like he could branch out farther, maybe creating a line of potions he creates. The man he was supposed to meet asked him to meet him in London. So, June 17th, he headed to London.

On June 17th of 2009, while in London, Mark was mugged, losing all of his precious potions and instructions. The muggers had just seen him as a skinny boy, dressed nicely and carrying a briefcase, and they saw an opportunity, thinking that he had money. He now realized he needed to start from square one. But, seeing how easy it was for the muggers to make money, and now noticing that he had virtually nothing to lose, he figured that he should become a criminal. He figured that criminals are more desperate for potions, so they would pay more, and it would allow him to stretch into the darker potions.

Mark also realized that he doesn’t seem like a suspicious man, and that he could easily smuggle things that people wanted transported quietly. He’s new to the business of the dark arts and he figured that without a criminal reputation, he could probably come across as not too much of a threat to aurors.
